I think it's already covered for some part of the city. I saw a unifi banner at tmn. canning.
I also got a postcard from unifi and giving me special offer.

For Ipoh basicly whole city (technically a town in my opinion) will get covered and it's under their plan. Just be patient. My area in Batu 5 Tambun still waiting though few streets away the newer housing area is already in service. My house is kampung house so must be patient. Anyway my house ord been using 4M for 2 yrs and they capped at 5M just to make sure the service level is always 100% at all time. No complaint at all!

Search for Pasir Putih, Perak or postcode 31650 here:

https://occ.unifi.my/HSBBCustomerPortal/HSB...e_checkcoverage

You'll see that the ibusawat Telekom already is ready for Unifi and now awaiting to pull fibre on phone poles around the area.

One of the TM installer here already said in the other thread that estimated time is early 2013. So just wait until time comes.

They won't resist this area since we already have a large AEON mall, a Jalan Pasar(electronic street) of Ipoh, an upcoming Malaysian Shoe City and a big industrial site located around.

Wiring up the whole area will need quite an amount of fibre cables though sweat.gif

that is correct. its called superspeedme promo.
for the next 3 mths after upgrading to unifi you still pay your streamyx price.
on the 4th month onwards pay the normal unifi price.
