Is 100% will not covered by unifi.

Problem is, TM Agent and TM Point told me that unifi will be available within the next few months, and I saw TM unifi ppl laying fibre optic cables inside my condo. Unless TM is laying the cables on behalf of Time.com.

i heard that unifi will be available if the tm cabinet mark with Vxxxx. is that true?
today there's worker at tm cabinet erase the old mark Fxxxx and replace with VFxxxx

Not sure if its true because some blogger named Bdk Botak from Northern states who claims he's from TM Business Research Division says other wise.

His blog mentioned that:

Cabinets with 'V' only supports up to Streamyx 2mbps, 'R' upto 8mbps and only those with 'F' have fiber optic ready around the area.

But contrary to his statement, the V cabinets are the newer ones around just installed recently while the 'F' coded ones are usually the old cabinets lying around.

Anybody living in Taman Desa Relau 2, Penang ? Seems like every condo/apart around me has unifi except the condo im living in ?

My brother just told me he saw unifi banners along taman Ipoh and when i tried to key in ipoh or 31400 as postcode i saw a few taman near my area already covered and it's not for bizness, it's for home user! Can't wait to hv unifi in my home in ipoh. Hooray!!

TM HSBB contractor came at my place for the 2nd time to put the box and wiring today..

Asked the contractor when can I subscribe to Unifi, he said.. around 5 month

What !!!! Still need 5 month after install the box and wiring ?
Why still need so long ?

Need time to figure out how to "steal" bandwidth from existing users for new subscribers?

heard that unifi will available at tangga batu, melaka next year,
will sungai udang covered too?

Not true. My taman is a V cabinet and I just registered for 5Mbps Unifi. Will be installed this Friday.

The box is only 1 part of it. There are still a lot of stuff needs to be done.

In my case after the box (and rage why so long still haven't open registration), they still need to pull the cables to each pole in the taman. They also renovate the existing phone cylinder and add some more complicated stuff. After that once in a while will see people come to the main box with their laptop. To check the line I suppose.

The box is not all you need for connection.

P/S: I registered on October and saw the box on February I think.

I've started seeing smaller boxes labelled with TSK Cxxxx being installed next to these 'V' cabinets around Ipoh Garden closeby to Jusco and new cables on poles there.

So it's true that they're getting Unifi there in Ipoh Garden very soon via FTTH for home residents there.

Moving to Dynasty Garden condo, near kuchai entrepreneurs park soon.. any idea if unifi available there ?
