I've also signed up for a Swype beta account. I prefer swyping to touch typing. Swyping seems more accurate than typing.

Still prefer shapewriter than swype. adding words to swype is painful like iphone.
however shapewriter is removing from market permanently on 20 june.

Been using swype for a day now. I have to say this is pure genius and really awesome. Texting and 'swyping' is awfully fast now!

Got Swype and I think it works more smoothly than Shapewriter. It is very good at guessing which word you want even if your thumb/finger is a bit off the mark. The pop ups take up too much screen space when I am in the middle of something.
I am keeping HTC Touch on standby though. How long is the trial period?
