Available today. All you need to do is head on over to http://beta.swype.com and you can go ahead and download the software right to your phone. No word on whether it will be in the Market or if this is simply an open beta, but get it while the going is good. It is on limited time offer and to limited users only. GRAB it while is still hot

Give it time to 'learn' your words then it will save it in the dictionary smile.gif

I'm using shapewriter too.

Since swype beta license is only for 3 months, I'll wait for the official version.

I've also signed up for a Swype beta account. I prefer swyping to touch typing. Swyping seems more accurate than typing.

Still prefer shapewriter than swype. adding words to swype is painful like iphone.

however shapewriter is removing from market permanently on 20 june.

Has anyone compared Shapewriter to Swype? After trying Shapewriter, which was OK, I prefer Touch with phone style keypad.

Been using swype for a day now. I have to say this is pure genius and really awesome. Texting and 'swyping' is awfully fast now!

Got Swype and I think it works more smoothly than Shapewriter. It is very good at guessing which word you want even if your thumb/finger is a bit off the mark. The pop ups take up too much screen space when I am in the middle of something.

I am keeping HTC Touch on standby though. How long is the trial period?
