QUOTE(freddy manson @ Jun 17 2010, 09:20 AM) .... Part time gearhead can ? Its life's simple guilty pleasures. Like a wise lembu once said he inspires people to chase their wishlist dream So I guess we can just allow ourselves to be just the gearhead, or the phototaker (not photographer); Or we can be both? Hehehe just sharing my POV only.. |

May i know whats the difference between Tamron SP90 F2.8 and the F2.5 ? Other than the 2.8 is latest version right. But the F2.5 still can do auto focus right? |

QUOTE(hazril @ Jun 21 2010, 01:30 AM) u want wide or u want tight...??? (mcm berirama la plak) Aperture wise its much different eh? Already play around with tammy 1750 's f/2.8 and love the bokeh. I take it 1.7 is more bokehness eh. depends on ur usage bro...aperture wise 50mm but wideness 28mm wins.... |

QUOTE(shootkk @ Jun 21 2010, 09:39 AM) Put both of the lenses on your camera. Which one looks more 'ngam' to you? That's the one that's more suited to your way of shooting. There's no such thing as one lens is better than another unless you're talking about a really cheap quality glass. Yeah its back to wide and tight eh. Since already got f/2.8 might as well play with f/1.7 .When I first got the 50mm on an APS-C camera, I liked it. Then I saw the 50mm on the FF. I loved it! That's the difference. I loved the fact that a 50mm lens can afford you to shoot almost everything without you having to change lenses. It can shoot people across the table from you, do street shooting with no problems, do portraiture and even small groups with no hassle. It can also do low light without flash. |

1:1 Magnification is true 1 to 1 ratio right? What is 1:2 ? From my understanding 1:2 is not equal to 2:1 right?
