prime lens = fixed lens, cannot be zoom

sure got difference. one can take pic at f1.8 one can take at f4. if comparing at 50mm.

why?    

whichever u see it, primes will very seldom, if ever, get beaten by a zoom. Moreover, you're comparing it with 55-200. No fight la. Angle of view will be around the same if that's what you're asking. Sharpness and aperture wise will lose out.

try pusing-pusing your senapang leh. stick with selotep for a few while and try shoot with 30mm only. then try another time with 50mm.
which one u like better then buy that 

why ur funding gets negative leh 

i tried 50mm before and felt too tight, now try 28mm f/2.8 love the range/wide but prefer more speed/wider aperture

Still hung up from the FF eh.  Still shoots but due to the nature of portraiture wifey don't allow to share most of it if i say i want to shoot models she shoot me back

simple: poison ur family to photography as well then everybody can go photoshooting together.
