So for a shoulder to face shoot what f do you recommend? I tried f/2.2 But Just got the nose / eye sharp and the rest is kinda oof.

i was tempted to get a used cz1680 since the appealing 16mm wide is really nice for landscape shoot. Search high and low for a second hand cz and no one selling at decent price. Then settled down with tammy 1750.

few weeks later theres like 2-3 person (including moo) sells their cz.
