i found using 'spot' metering will help on correct exposure of the subject..

few days back i captured a flower that have sky on the background..
using multi segment, centre weighted which normally used for potrait..
becoz of the sensor being fooled by the sufficient light.. the flower remain dark..

so after i changed it to spot.. then it's ok..
DRO in that situation not helping much.. so after this i play with the metering mode..

oh..because i heard from my uncle that there were issues with 3rd party lenses not compatible with the latest software of the latest cameras and hence they became obsolete.. hmm.gif
the worst case maybe just use manual focus..
but until now..minolta lenses still can be used right..

or is it related to 5pin and 8pin thingy?
