what a kitlens + external flash can do

pic taken using 55-200mm lens at 200mm.

standing about 7 meters away from the stage. the whole hall was dark. only one spot light shining on the girl. used 1/100 shutter to freeze her movements and prevent handshake and f5.6 to get some sharpness.

pop up flash can do a?(unless u go right in front of the stage at take then i no comment)

A700 for better handling and customization (Quick Navi, DoF Preview, more flexible control)

A550 for extra features (Manual Live View, Quick AF Live View in 4FPS, better ISO control, HDR options)

or wait for newer model =) which come with better specs and perhaps video recording

Go for SAL 1.8 =)

I only notice those big big tele zoom lens 
why only C & N ?
What I mean is those " white " tele zoom lens .. should be 500mm / 600mm tele zoom lens 
Each have pro and con .. really make to hard to select if really want to upgrade ..

Btw, A700 new body is at RM2999, while A550 new body is at RM2600.

u wont go wrong with either one...u have used a700 rite so maybe u should try a550...its ohsem...!

A550 is a top recommended camera. i wont say the best, but one thats on the top list.

A7xx replacement wont be out so soon, even it is out, that camera will be so great, it will outlast at least 2 years of lower model releases. but the pricing, definitely can buy 2x A550...

55-200 is sharper but 75300 have longer reach

most of the pics shown are taken at the far end of the lens, sharp also wat...

depends la on how sharp u want.

IMHO, i dislike the 75-300... and ill take the 55200 over the 75300 anyday.
