Guys, I am not familiar with the smartphone yet and I have some question to ask:

1.What are the advantages I will gain after doing rooting? What I heard is gain access to the kernel.
2.Aftet update to 3rd party X8 firmware, will I still get to use Timescape/Mediascape UI that offers specially on Xperia series phone?

Hey guys, I need your help here.

I recently just get my X8 and I have some weird issues.
When I try to connect USB, it will only charge the phone instead of letting me select action such as SD card etc.

The first few time still able to get it back when doing hard reset to factory default but not now anymore. Anybody knows what is going on?

PS:This issue happens both in stock rom and also custom rom.
