guys,need ur help here.i've just bought a W8.but i didn't put in a SIM card yet cos i edy have a phone n bought this just to try out the android apps.problem is that i edy connected to my home wifi,but i cant register a google acc.not only that i also cant use the browser/youtube/Fb etc. so i need to ask,do u need to put in the simcard for it to browse the web eventhough im using wifi?

yeah...everything is displayed on my phone.but 1 thing though,for a few minutes i
was able to connect to the internet.after that it cant load anymore.mayb its my modem perhaps?

what do u mean by normal apps on PC?if u mean the internet browser then its all fine.i can surf the web normally.my ps3 also can donwload games using the wifi.,just my phone cant connect properly.

actually i 've just flash my phone into using GingerDX...n its still cant connect as before.

yeah...my fren told me about gdx.sometimes there's wifi issues.but he also uses gdx n can connect
to my wifi.eventhough when the first time he comes to my house he cant connect it properly.

so,whats ur suggestion here bro? change to another rom? i really need to download apps here

ok guys,a little update.i've just got back from a mamak stall to test the wifi there.n to my surprise it can connect normally.i was also able to register n downloads apps from the market.n 1 thing i found out though,when i succesfully connected to the wifi,the wifi signal logo on the upper right changes from white to green.meaing i've succesfully connected to it.then after i got home,it can also connect to my home wifi (barely) for about 5 minutes then the signal changes to white again.now i cant get it to go green.so whats the problem here exactly? i think my modem is crazy after the recent slow down of TMsuck.

i think no need la bro...my phone can now properly connect to my wifi the signal is green but need to wait for about 5-10 minutes then can use.i can even surf youtube videos....lol.this is crazy!

guys...now there's a new problem for my phone.it cant detect my home wifi.after scan also cant find it.but on my nokia,it can connect n browse the web normally.dang it....so many wifi problems with this phone.please help me out here
