Hai.. I'm a new x8 user. My bro bought it for me, and it android 2.1. My friend said that it can be upgraded to 2.2. How can I do it? Please help cause I'm not that good in doing all this twicking. Pls help....

Nice to know that it can be done, if me also wanted to root my fon can u help me show the way on how to do it? I'm a newbie in all this.

Thank u bro. U help me a lot but still I don't have a clue when reading the thread that u gave me. Anyway thank u for ur help, maybe I'll just stick to what SE supplied me with. If any1 out there willing to help me solve this prob then I'll accept it with open arms.

before u flashing any rom..make sure u do a full wipe using
xRecovery..then ...flashing by push 'restore' in xrecovery

Use superoneclick to do the Root..
then install root explorer..
install xRecovery using root explorer...
after u've done all mentioned above..
then u can install any Roms that u feel best..  biggrin.gif

well... thats better. Thank u so much bro. I'll search for all the things that u have mention and will try to root my fone. One thing that keep bothering me, what if my rooting doesn't work and makes my fone goes haywire.... Is there any chance that would happen to me????

Hello guys... its me again!! I got this problem, My little bro xcidentally press something on my fon and my call icon on the down left side of the is gone and I can't seem to find it on the fon to put it back there again. Hard for me being a slow coach to call and look to for my previous call log.
