Bro, Apple store at Buchanan street is ok as long as u go early. Went there again this morning. No luck as well. Put a pre order so they will notify u once the stock is here. U can do so in the store itself. The specialist will be more than happy to help u. Where are u now?

The apple specialists are pretty tight-lipped when it comes to availability of stocks. Keep trying to pester them to reveal the date but the same answer each time "couple of weeks". I am constantly checking my mail to see if they have emailed me. Sigh.........the wait is killing me.

Yeah, carphone warehouse restocked last Sat and I received an email from them. Because I don't want to be tied down by contract I choose to wait for Apple. But isn't Apple store supposed to be given priority ?? That's just weird!

WOW!! Ur fren is so lucky!!! Is Glasgow so isolated that we have to be the last to get the new stock?

Let's pray for stock to arrive this week. My patience is running out......

OMG. I hope not that late! I really hope I will get it by this weekend. Sigh...

The stocks are here....but I am not the lucky first few in the priority list. Still waiting.....

Yeah, I was cheated by one of the specialists from Apple on the 3rd day of launch (Saturday). He told me they weren't taking in pre order during weekend....until I went back to him on the following Monday, one of them said the same thing....not wanting to give up....I went to ask another friendly specialist and he helped me on the spot to put my name on the priority list. That's how I ended up at the bottom of the list I guess........sigh!!!!!!!!!

It's worth a try tho bro. Sometimes there might be problem with your billing address not matching your delivery address but if they do allow you to key in an alternative address just for the delivery then do it.

Yes and no. Yes, because they do have stock in the store. No, due to the fact that they are allocated for ppl in the priority list. Put in a pre order now. Maybe u will still make it.
