The apple specialists are pretty tight-lipped when it comes to availability of stocks. Keep trying to pester them to reveal the date but the same answer each time "couple of weeks". I am constantly checking my mail to see if they have emailed me. Sigh.........the wait is killing me.

same here. been waiting for the news and checking email every day. Really couldnt wait for new stocks. Some carriers have them in stock but why apple did not get any?

Of course make money from carrier.

Yeah, carphone warehouse restocked last Sat and I received an email from them. Because I don't want to be tied down by contract I choose to wait for Apple. But isn't Apple store supposed to be given priority ?? That's just weird!

Bcoz, the buyer for unlock mostly is outsider from UK. That is why it sold out very fast. So better they give more stock to local telco.

Apple store here in leicester got some stocks..(as of 5th July 17.46pm UK time) My friends just purchase the 32Gb unlocked there.. Where as, in O2, CPW, its totally out of stock

In London the demand exceeds supply so we are constantly out of stock

Let's pray for stock to arrive this week. My patience is running out......

isn't iphone 4 warranty from UK can be claimed at malaysia or other countries which already launched it?

iPhone warranty is country specific IINM. no international warranty

I predict the in stock date is 14 July

just a heads up to the UK batch iPhone4 users, reporting a possible scary bug in the current phones.
in the past two days, two of my iphones decided to go blank. one yesterday,, one just now...
note: thr is no past history of the phone dropping or any physical damage.
the screen wud be non-responsive, calls wud go thru but the phone wun ring...it's very scary..
luckily solution is fairly easy...DFU or recovery n restore ur phone...tats it..
just to share...no intention of scaring ppl ..
