QUOTE(navilink @ Nov 16 2011, 11:06 PM) shocking to see Gamespot only give 7.5 to this game and yet...ppl are always saying that IGN is only COD fanboyshttp://asia.gamespot.com/the-legend-of-zel...ws/platform/wii but IGN give it 10/10 |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Nov 19 2011, 04:58 PM) honestly yeah..they should just call it Final Story / fantasy / adventure coz there is no connection whatsoever to the timeline...if they just said each story is stand alone it would just be easier...coz most often in the story..Link n Zelda is always a new character in somewhat a diff setting/town. Like in Skyward Sword..Zelda is anak pengetua sekolah...in Twilight princess, well she is not. How can she be a separate entity if its the same story? and Link...always started off not as a warrior / knight whatsoever |

yeah but still...a good story teller can make everybody understand the basic timeline without having to rely on a GUIDE BOOK
I understand that u'd probably need a guide book for strategies etc..but just to understand a timeline? either they are so smart..or probably they just go to a meeting somewhere and try to make sense of it all. |

QUOTE(Gon Freaks @ Nov 23 2011, 09:36 AM) no..you are getting it wrong. perhaps u don't understand what i meant...i just said from the very beginning, they could say it upfront..there's no direct link to the story line between games and each adventure is a new one. I myself not seeking for a relation of storyline/continuity between zelda games, i just treat each story like i treat all FF games..the only diff is, zelda games always repeat the names of its main characters.story was never the main intention for zelda creation. Miyamoto san tell this. He doesnt freaking care about the story. He just want to create gameplay. What he meant by the story guide book is that, the gameplay element will involve a certain story element which is related to a specific timeline. the guide book was never meant for us (gamers) but for his reference on what element should the next zelda be about.. He doesnt mind us not understanding the story line.. and like i said before, the timeline is for fans who like these elements of where and when the game would took place in the next zelda. check out the link. |

QUOTE(Gon Freaks @ Nov 23 2011, 12:16 PM) and to be honest, actually on 2 names are repeating, which is Link and Zelda, and considering the game name is Zelda, the only name that repeats is Link, also worth mentioning that Link name can be rename to anything else. yes..same as FF there you go, no names are repeated from one game to another. |

QUOTE(Gon Freaks @ Nov 23 2011, 12:39 PM) nope i dont get what you're saying. if u don't get it then maybe i will find a secret FF book later to explain this beside, the last FF where name can be change was FFX and even that you can only change tidus name. and point is that the names are there for a reason. Its not a different world like FF. FF plays with a different world in each game. Zelda on the other hand plays in the same world. for example, LOZ:PH was connected to ST like by around 100-200 years. and the connection was one guy who actually saw both link in 2 different generation. and..not every FF is set in a different world |

the thing i like about playing zelda on the wii is that my daughter will cheer me on every time there's an enemy and i have to slash it to death
my daughter will not care that much if i'm playing games on the PS3, but if it's on the wii and she sees me doing the hand gestures she will sit beside me and cheering me on "ketuk dia daddy..ketuk dia" satisfaction Added on November 24, 2011, 7:17 am X-PLAY REVIEW This post has been edited by PhoenixByte: Nov 24 2011, 07:17 AM |
