HTC's Latest....... Aria ............The Aria is comparatively tiny for an Android phone, measuring a little over four inches long and weighing just a shade over 4 ounces. The Aria runs a 700MHz Qualcomm processor—not a 1 GHz Snapdragon that’s at the heart of high-end Android handsets but not slouch either— and features a 5 megapixel camera, microSD removable storage (it ships with a 2GB card but can handle up to 32 GB), and sports a 3.2-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display. The Aria also uses an optical mouse, rather than the trackball-type pointing devices that HTC used to ship on most of its smartphones........... Looks exactly like the HD mini, only difference is that this is on Android instead of WinMo.

Comparable to HTC Legend. the qualcomm chip used in Aria is the same as Legend or Wildfire btw?

QUOTE(yoda @ Aug 8 2010, 06:32 PM) RM1699 at HTC booth @ PCFair RM 1699? 500 more than wildfire, seems like the price is abit high. In Taiwan, Aria is just TWD 14,900 only, approx. RM 1,490. And Aria just the resolution higher, no camera flash, 256K color compared to wildfire (got flash, 16M color but qvga).

Those review that I read state 600MHz MSM7227 but TS link said 700MHz. I guess this comes without AMOLED.
Maybe Legend just too huge with the chin. Thats why HTC bothered to released another same spec phone with different design. With this, I think it confirmed that Froyo will come to Legend liao.

The phone spec look good. But RM1799 really not high. Rm1599 would be best.

Alu uni body sumore. Too bad legend is EOL product for some telco like BELL. (Source: IntoMobile) If not I would sure recommend by colleague for it.

(Source: IntoMobile) If not I would sure recommend by colleague for it. Android moves very fast... I think Legend still worth it. Something you can live with as a brilliant day to day phone. I dont think I would sell mine. I really wonder what will Google do when it surpassed Apple, not in sales figure alone. Will it slows down and settle down a bit or just went ahead? Im not really a fan of this web integration thing but after using it, seem like cant live without it.
