QUOTE(IlDivinCodino @ Apr 4 2011, 10:29 AM) yup i know. there's no perfect car. but im sure i'll love my car.i read here and there, the choices is between city, vios & persona. vios wins on fc but i chose city because of the design. fc is not really an issue for me. cant wait for the car to arrive! |

guys im going to get my honda city next week tuesday.
is it okay if i drive it for 10 hours long journey on thursday/friday? because i read/heard that new car need to 'run' or 'engine break in' for certain speed until a minimum distance. is it true? if yes than what should i do until i can drive it for a long journey? |

QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ Apr 9 2011, 12:19 PM) how much is the damage bro for the tyre and rim? Japan rim? 17? what is the weight? i see. thanks for your response. btw do u think it is safe to whack the car for a 8 hours drive 1 day after i got the car?Added on April 9, 2011, 12:42 pm as far as I concern, the 'running period' does not include the distance (eg: you cannot drive for more than 300km at once). running period mean you cannot exceed the speed (eg: 100kmph for the first 1000 km). As for my case, I dont care. Straight away give 120kmph when I got the car. |

QUOTE(kevin23 @ Apr 12 2011, 10:18 AM) Yes theres no autolock .You can have one installed outside for about RM 120. Hi bro. I read on the last version regarding your poor fc. How is it now? Ur FC is pretty ok actually for a new car. Let it run in a bit,and it will be much better.you should be getting about 400kms per RM 60 of RON95. Any changes/additions you make? Added on April 12, 2011, 11:15 am QUOTE(earl-ku @ Apr 12 2011, 11:05 AM) Run in at less that 3k rpm and less than 90km/h for the first 1000km Ok bro noted. Thanks for the info. Then some take it next level and do less than 5k rpm and less than 110km/h till 5000km This post has been edited by syedakmal: Apr 12 2011, 11:15 AM |
