QUOTE(jytanx @ Sep 5 2010, 11:14 PM)
Change to another branch, dude. That SA not trust-worthy. I got around RM2,000 worth of discount.

I'm sure the people around here probably got more.
*
QUOTE(llneworill @ Sep 5 2010, 11:28 PM)
wtf?! mind to tell me which branch u went?
*

2. no discount

I think it also depends on the strategy of your approach. When I buy my car, I already told the SA I need the car urgently. So she didn't give me any discount at all. Just some simple free gifts.

Maybe, you can try approach the SA and say you still undecided whether to get City or Vios. If got some nice offer for City then most probably will go for city...see the SA want your sales or not. If want, they sure will offer you good discount.

thanks, this should help as a tip, probably will bring other T / N brochure when browsing around.
Maybe I was too desperate 'on the face'

hello fellow city-zens,

so far what is your experience with the SC? I’m a devoted city fan but after reading some comments on the interweb about SC from some places, make me doubt a lot if it i should proceed with my first purchase because it seems the after sales of honda deteriorate from bad to worse.

common comment i got
-helpline doesn’t seem to be “help” ful
-HM doesn’t respond at all (sounds like P1)
-Maybe due to the high volume sale they start to act like prick
-A lot of QC problem

but besides from that, kept telling myself it shouldn’t be that bad?

It really depends on luck bro. I've got my NHC since March & there's totally no problem with it. The only thing i dislike is the handling. After installing some after market struts, it's good to go.
*
sigh, i keep telling myself “no it’s ok no it’s ok” but i can’t take a fact to take my hard earned money and spend it on a car that later will be serviced by SC that has P1 attitude, for example suddenly item kong then they’ll go like tak-apa attitude :s

hello fellow owners,

want to ask about warranty-voiding thing...
what is the thing that you have mod when you gotten the car in the first place? and it doesn't void the warranty?

1. tyres
2. rims
3. alarm system (central locking)
4. remote boot release (?)
5. side step
6. third party bodykit

i tried to get a definite answer from the SA but she reluctant to give a proper answer

They will provide u a check list on what to check for ~

not trying to be pessimistic, but the checklist normally is very generic one where it doesn't rectify those problem that occur/floating around forumer
i have been harcore-reading city's forum and trying to gather as much information as possible on those really common thing that owner usually end up fixing for their 1st 1k service

i just remembered,

INTERIOR
-A-pillar installation
-In front of the dashboard for the bulging sponge
-Aircond knob for the fading off issue
-Lights
-Sound system
-aircond sound like breathing during acceleration

EXTERIOR
-mounting of bodykit (if applicable)
-paint
-Tyres
-Rims
-Exhaust
-Suspension/Absorber
-Nyek-nyek sound when going over bump
-Petrol lid/cover

I found one shop 220 bucks only, but he refuse to sell me at that price.
Coz he mistakenly give me the dealer price.
Bulge on the side wall means the side wall break already, means that better change.
Sidewall is the weakest part of the tyre.
If the tyre gets too hot, definitely it will burst.

Last time I tried before, drive too close to the curb, scratch a bit of the sidewall only, next thing i know, flat tyre.
*
thanks kons, i was lucky enough to went through a tyre bursting incident unharmed in an old accord...i was driving up and down from klang to kl continously, and the next thing i know, i heard one loud bang, and my car loses a bit of balance, once stopped aside, noticed that the rear tyre bursted into pieces :s
will be more careful with my nhc

What i meant is that the tyre is quieter than the stock.

But insulation is same. Can still hear the wind noise at high speeds. >140km/h
*
lol talking about the nvh, i was really surprised on how noisy it is on the roof when it's raining, probably louder than my old iswara sad.gif
the usual road noise outside the car is bearable, since i've used to driving kancil and iswara, but during rain, it felt like coins dropping on top of the car doh.gif
