yeah..down so many days...i was gonna ask you if you want to migrate to my webhosting. Anyway, glad that it is coming back...and no backup!?!?!? You should make it a habit to backup your website like once every few months.

on top of all of these issues.. i suffered another problem... just 4 days after i got my new car, the engines loses power and vibrates alot... brought it back to honda service center again and they say need to leave the car there for 3 days to diagnose (sad)... turn out to be a simple ecu error which only require a reset... no harm done... nvm..

hope you guys can advice me on what i can do to claim for a replacement of the plastic and the door's rubber...

Well...bad luck for you then. The two problems you have is considered minor or cosmetic. The only way to fix is like glue back or try best to put is nicely. I do not think honda will change a new car for you. I mean..what else can they do? Change the whole door for the rubber issue? Well, you can try putting sticker in your car that says "my honda tak guna" might work. LOL...

Your tint is 3m's highest tint range? Receipt didn't say. Can pass through smarttag?

Today I saw a honda civic pass through tol, that guy had to wind down window and hold out the smarttag...what a waste. Nice car but spoiled the image.

haha...SA is supposed to do those work lah..They get commision leh. Also if they don't do good job, can get bad remark in the after sales questionaire.

You see potong and peetdua where got such thing as after sales service???

BTW, i already got my free keychain for doing the questionaire but the keychain not nice leh. Ori honda keychain nicer.

nothing is 100% in this world. No doubt, there are also good SA in p1/p2. But the thing is, honda have stricter policy with their SA. They have after sales QA which client can fill up to complain. Therefore, the SA for honda is pressured to provide good service compared to p1/p2 where they only want to see sales figure. As for the free gifts promised by the SA, you can call up or sms one last time...tell him to better deliver you the promised gifts or else bad remark in the after sales questionnaire.

I am using raytech now. Done it in their taipan branch. Not bad...but tintmaster..never heard of it...

hehe...i made a mistake. My tint is actually ecotint. Using their highest range called raybarrier. Hence the mixed-up. 10 years warranty.

windscreen front and back = raybarrier
side windows = raybarrier + 4mil security tint

10 years warranty.

lol...i am suspecting the same thing also. I mean...go to SG to fix all the tinting and other stuffs. Total kiasuness.

Everyday drive also got risk to gearbox lah...then how about keep the car at home for viewing only?

Plus, I still am puzzled by how generally people always fear about gearbox spoiling. Why don't they worry about other things like the piston or engine or ecu or others. Those are also expensive to replace. Why only afraid gearbox spoil? Is there any statistics that actually show gearbox being the most prone to failure in a car or something?

My friend's 10 year old hyundai car...everything spoil except gearbox... lol...

you know..if the service center person b**** about bodykit then it means he/she don't know anything about car. Ask for someone else to service you.

If you did not pay the extra windscreen insurance then it's not too late. Ask agent if you can add it now. If cannot add already then wait until next year renewal add. Claim insurance after that.

Meanwhile, if the crack is not deep then you can let it be. It won't spread. If it starts to spread, then quickly go to those windscreen specialist. They will apply some special chemical glue that will stop the crack spreading. It should not cost more than RM150.

locktech is the original and made in Thailand.

Locktact is the copycat and made in Malaysia.

Some says locktact is better with improvement and so on. But I prefer Original, hence mine is locktech.

NHC 5G is not a bad car. If you read some professional reviews, they all said the NHC is better than the old HC. For one, the design of NHC already beat the OHC to fish paste. OHC have girly design and no matter what bodykit you put on it, it still look sissy beng-ish. In terms of handling NHC is already much better. Sure, acceleration is not that good. But you want a car for racing or what? It sure can accelerate if you hit the pedal but then next thing you complain is why the FC so high? As a standalone 1.5L AT car, the FC is quite good leh. Nothing fancy like OHC nor bad as cough**BLM**cough.

Overall, it's an okay car for the price you are paying. Pros and cons it sure have. Having owned a NHC, I will still take this car over Vios anytime.

Damn it! why do people have such low mentality about driving up to genting. Going up genting is just like going up hill for a slightly longer than ordinary period. It put stress on the car a little but by no means something to be avoid or scared of.

A car that have problem going up genting means that car itself is already having problems. Any modern car that have problems going uphill is a lousy car or badly maintained car.

Look at it like this...going up genting for a car is like a human climbing up ladders to top of KL tower. Any human having problems with that means you are not fit.

To me, it is actually a good way to stress the car a little. To make the car perform where it can't in city roads. For most modern cars, it's really NOT EVEN a heavy stress. Just some light exercise only.

no trying to pour oil in fire but can we discuss a little on the accident?

I mean..you were saying about luck and all but 2 bikes knock on your car? I somehow feel it is your fault. You trying to make a tight turn at 40kmh? Were you driving fast then then about to turn only you quickly slow to 40kmh? Did you try looking behind/around you before you make the turn? Did you cut off the bikers from behind or another lane?

in that case, both of them are probably chatting to each other and wasn't paying attention on the road. Did the bikers get saman? Their insurance can cover for your lost? If not then they just get away with saman only for reckless driving?

strange...my 5k service cost me RM40++. RM22 for semi-sync and another around RM22 for something else (i forgot). How come yours so cheap? I thought all services are standard price at honda.

yah...will damage your engine loh...why you never go for semi-syn? Like that your engine performance sure get affected due to the quality of the mineral oil. In the long run after few years when warranty expire, you will need to overhaul your engine. Go singapore service lah...better service there...
