My guy friend asked me this question last night:

Can girls live without cosmetics?[COLOR=blue]

My answer is, definitely YES!!! Why not? Undoubtedly, make-up makes myself more presentable when attending some events. However, I always believe that the self-confidence is the most important part, and it's not related to the make-up that you apply.

So how you girls think about that? Share your thinking with me!!! smile.gif

hm...i think it depends ba. Malaysian women dont put on makeup as much as americans or europeans. The cosmetic industry in msia is also smaller than them.

So, msian women CAN live w/o makeup. It's our culture as well. If u wear makeup to an outing where all the others dont, then they will think u're so over. And the next time u go out with them, u wont put on ady.... sad.gif

It's a definite yes. smile.gif I don't even put on cosmetic (save for sunblock and protective uncoloured lipbalm) when I go out. But one thing I notice is that more and more of my GUY friends can't do without make up, they groom their brows, apply lipbalm, foundation/bb cream/face powder and you can't tell that they have all that gunk of things on their faces because it's looks so natural. tongue.gif

But to be very hardcore, people can live without make up, it's not like oxygen or water. XDD;;

I can live without makeup, I do apply make up occasionally (liner, gloss,blusher,eyeshadow, not all at once). I don't like those 'mask' like make up, like those taiwanese girls when they remove make up they look like different person all together. For me make up is to enhance not to modify one's face. I wear make up sometimes to look more healthy or 'awake' when i look like i'm sick or obviously lack of sleep.

Yeh yeh.. I did watch a Taiwanese show before.
The girls look TOTALLY DIFFERENT before and after make-up.
It's really unbelievable. BTW, their make-up skills are approaching the professional level la ok.

I think that was not present. The cosmetics is necessary to all.

I can survive w/o make up, but imagining life w/o make up to play with (touch wood)...i don't think i can. I like make up so much. I don't have a lot of make up, and rarely put on a lot of makeup. As long as I have those basic stuff and a colorful eyeshadow pallete, I'll be happy. hehe.

Hey Girls,
Personally I dont think make up is a must. If u have a good skin why u need make up to hide it or make it better? nothing is better than natural beauty. However, I still agree that, some of the occasional that is a must to make up in order to fit into the society but if normal occasional like yamchar or hang out with friend I dont think make up is a necessity.

Girls can live without cosmetic but girls never live without skin care products right??

I rather spend much on skin care product than cosmetic product. Skin care product can makes our skin look brighter, smoother and hydrate in naturally where cosmetic only covers the skin and tend to look good in a way. For those who really rather spend more on skin care product can really try this online website: www.zetafera.com where this website sells original skin care product with the lower price. I love their main product very much, it is a gold gel mask named Bonaquin gold mask. This mask works well in my oily skin. It effectively control my oily skin and hydrates well on my skin. I would say that for this price, it is definately worth buying and use it to maintain a healthy skin.

Have a try on it!!
