1) how to take care the hardest color to maintain in white

4) and lastly as an informational thread for all car models which offer white color in their lineup.

p/s: the idea came from white civic owner gathering in sri hartamas last year.. will it be nice if all other models come big in one TT but the condition must be in white color only

That beetle belongs to my mom, a lovely present from my dad, got swift already enough and satisfied for me

currently I have tried 2 products, Soft 99 soft wax and TurtleWax Liquid wax(the bottle come along with ChipStick). I found out liquid wax is better than paste wax. Using B & D KP600 polisher. I am just a noob starting to learn how to wax properly

both also need to wash regularly. black = dust and dirt very easy to spot, white = tend to yellowish in no time if lazy to take care.

i added u to the list. need you guys experience in dealing white color. my previous car is red wira.

mine is solid white, already stained badly by the bloody mango tree sap in front of my house...

same case with mine. always park in open area. got lots of tree seldom can get parking spot without tree nearby.
when cars full with tree sap, it's really heartache..

i think when it is still new, it can be easily remove by washing it. but if stay for a long time, problem already.
i wash the car twice just to get rid of the tree sap. 1st; wash car like normal. 2nd; wash again as the tree sap now easy to remove coz already wet by water.

Well the J spec is a stripped down version but it still have ABS, EBD and BA as standard. Now with the facelifted one it has 1 driver's airbag. So i dont think the security and safety in that car is stripped, unless if u talking about equipment.

Yeah....alot of whities out there. Champion white belongs to Honda's Type R range....it is a yellowish white. Solid white is boring, pearl white you can mix with any pearl colors and it will give you a special effect but most people go for blue. At a certain angle, it looks bluish If you ask me, BMW's alpine white is the best. It looks clean, expensive and classy

just wash regularly. but quite a lot of new car's owner send their car for paint protection. PPS, Sierra Glow and Raydiance nanocoat.

i also haven't polish yet. need to give the car some massage treatment also. haha

Ya ya.......i tried that too meguiars at Sri Petaling (2009). Total cost RM 200 for my wife kenari
....and the workers are best but they no longer operating....they become used car dealer.
if not mistaken the process is like this:
1. Wash car
2. Rub car surface with a kind of clay...(dunno how to describe) according them is to remove dirt
3. Wash again
4. Cloth dry
5. Remove emblem, logo, rear light
6. paste masking tape to cover the gap between door, head light surrounding and etc.
7. start polishing. (using a kind of cloth) they said is came from sheep. it feel soft when i touched it.
8. remove masking tape at door gap and polish that area
9. Wax
10. Wash
11. cloth dry
12. apply a kind of watery type coat.
13. leave it dry
after all being done......the car surface is like baby skin (VERY SMOOTH)......
total process taken from morning 9am till afternoon 6 something)
Final process: pay

kind a waste coz they no longer operating.

Paint Protection ain't cheap, might cost you a bomb. If your car does not have a roof or shelter to keep it from sunlight and rain... then you might need to wash more... For what I have experienced, wax could not last longer under our country weather, rain will wash away your wax fast, and stains will visit back soon... People always say: "Be more hardworking to wash car if you choose white color"

Well one tip i can provide is to wash ur car frequently and if can, go for branded car shampoos like meguiars. More costly than usual shampoos but trust me its worth it.

how frequent is frequent? when i first got my car, will wash at least once a week. now once in two weeks. but if go back hometown, everyday also wash. haha.
