to all whitey sifu here,
i'd like to ask did anyone do any(pps , sierra glow & Ultra glass.) coating to ur own ride???
how do ur guys take care of ur whitey baby??
it's easily get dirty....even hard to wash by clean water....

well, i wash with normal car wash but if i wanna do a detail wash i will wash portion by portion. square meter by square meter. scrub 1 part then wash the soap off so tat it wun dry and got water mark there. until whole car done, i polish with soft99 normal car polish for 1 layer then use white car polish and polish whole car another layer. so make sure cleaner and clearer. all done by hand. now im thinking of getting turtle wax so tat i can clear the swirls to make a more perfect glow~

i dont really trust on pps/shine shield..my way of thinking is..no matter how good you "coat" if you takde disiplin no point..dont go bwh pokok shop and make sure go to shop that use meguiars/autoglym instead of osren..and use 2 bucket system..and wax every month..

actually WHITE mmg senang sgt jaga..cuci everytime dah start line hitam on ur body..u'll be fine

is senang if u hardworking to keep ur car clean lo. u wash edi go out for a spin the dust stick to ur car ur finger swipe tru edi black =p

Bukanmain is right on the waxing stuff....more frequent wax means more protection for the paint.My advice is to get a good quality wax (pure wax would be good) to get real good result.Meguiar's is good and long lasting....

dust is NOT a problem..IF you wax every month..sbb theres a coating ma..if u wax then dust it will not stick to your paint..it stick to ur wax

this is why i recommend to wax

Added on July 25, 2010, 9:00 pmu should always wash ur car with soap made for car. If you wash with clean water only it has potential for the dirt to scratch ur car. The soap will act as degrease + lubricant. You can get those wash + wax type which is slightly more expensive, but it does add some glow to it instead of just washing. I used to need 1.5 hours to wash my car. Now i can do it in 30 mins. And i uses 2 buckets way to wash my car. 1 bucket for soap another bucket of clean water to clean the sponge / tower used.

I try to wash my car every week. And every month, i will touch up on scratches. And everytime i did that, i found new stone chip on my hood

I didn't go to 'ah neh' car wash anymore for simple 2 reason. Reason 1 don't know wat soap they use. The soap they used might be too strong, good to remove dirt, but at the same time remove your wax as well. Reason 2, the cloth they used, normally will scratch your car.
