ok here's the result after wash -> clay -> polish (2x) -> wax of my 15 year old tank still in its original paint. I can say i'm satisfied as i'm no professional and i uses cheap off the shelf product which anyone can get outside. In addition, i uses my hand to do the job, damn tiring, i only manage to do the top and right side door, then i'm tired already. Will do the front and the left side next week smile.gif

Left: before. Just wash only. You can see how dull and non reflective the surface is. The last time i wax the car was 2 yrs ago.
Right: After. Polish with 2 layers of Turtle Polishing compound and 1 layer of Black Magic Wax. You can see the glossy reflection

the glossy reflection, although there are still some stone chip

side glossy reflection, you can still see the deep scratch. I have yet to learn how to remove those sad.gif

the gear, missing in the picture PG Clay Bar No.3

I don't recommend the Turtlewax F21 Super protectant as it smells bad (to me) and doesn't leave the glossy finish. And for the result i got, i think ICE Spray Detailer is abit expensive and it doesn't look as glossy as the Black Magic Wax.

it's a good product, but i believe you need to constantly go back to touch up (every 6 months) and u pay for each visit. That said i believe if you are a bit hardworking, off the shelf polish / wax product should do the same thing.

Sierra Glow doesn't protect scratching and chipping.

for a good glossy finish, i still prefer a pure carnuaba wax smile.gif

that one is PPS by Shine and Shield. for Sierra Glow (SG) they claim maintenance free.
yeap its true its not protecting from scratches. but i heard from owner who did SG, if got scratch they'll remove it by polish/wax and then reapply coating. but if deep scratch u must touch up by yourself first.

good service from them i would say.. that scratch happen after owner apply SG. and the boss ask to visit them and they do it FOC. thumbup.gif
