I am new here and would like to sort some opinions from fellow forummer.... Regarding the Astro Byond Interactive Red Dot when u watch world cup channels....is there any way to disable or get rid of the red dot from the decoder settings....

I just got a brand new plasma tv and this red dot is causing rather irritating image retention (hope not burn in) in my set. Been trying to get rid the IR for the past hour but not really succesful yet. Have called Astro regarding it and they so cannot be disable..

Any of u faced this same as mine..Any feedback will be appreciated..Thanks

Then the BACK BUTTON can't bring you to the previous channel.

no la..i have try it...try laa..but only 1st press when red button appear...

They say cannot be disable? Astro CS know nothing. What a shame...

when u enter a channel, and if u see the red dot, press info, then menu to exit, it works

Your method don't work on Byond decoder.

On SD press any other colour button on B.yond press back

it's nice and all, but I miss the functionality of the BACK button to quickly switch between channels. As I mentioned in the other thread, RED button is usually for canceling an action (just because Sky uses red doesn't mean it's right)

perhaps you guys can enable the Yellow button to cancel the red button

and the blue button to cancel the yellow button...
