despite being lucky.. for the price point, and since it still retains its sonic capability.. eterna is a good sounding iems..

darn, the next thing i should look at are RE0 and Shroom EB. Eterna V2 is a little too bassy and i always looking for detail and treble T_T

a bit off topic, but,
i'd suggest the shroom eb with the hippo player.. at least it delivers the bass details quite well, while having a lot of high details.. u wont get the boom of eterna anymore, but u'll still hear the bass kicking. u'd also get a good player.. but that's personal..
se777 + w1 is also a very good option.
re0 is very bass light.. i dont know why people call it balanced but bass light.. why not just tell people it is bass light instead? very misleading..

Here is a simple mod for both Eterna v1 and v2: There is a vent on the back of the earpiece right under the strain relief, just seal it off with a small piece of transparent tape. It clams down the bass and bring the treble and detail more forward, making the whole signature more balanced and enjoyable. I have been listening to it for a few hours now on my v2 and actually quite like it this way.

i did notice the vent for quite some time.. but never played with it..
but.. doing that.. wouldnt it lessen echo, and make soundstage slightly smaller?
ah.. dont have my eterna with me to play around.. doh.gif
maybe this weekend..
