wa finally GP thread is BACKKKK~~~! (yeah i know i'm late) how is everyone doing?

wow the new black baby is very cute~! the marking looks so special...it reminds me of my Nao LOL...

oh ya Juztiny u wanna see Alice? ok later snap he pic...she is currently very chubby..almost thought she is pregnant but no other visible sign except her 'bulat' tummy XD..my other GP oso doing good, only Nao is a bit thinner now, maybe she's jealous coz i cuddle Alice more than her hahaha~!

My Shiki is less...'naugthy' now..maybe its his age or he's not in the mood anymore LOL...he is going to 3 years 2 months now XD

I have a dilemma...I found a very poor kitten for adoption,I felt so sorry for him and i feel like adopting him...Plan to keep him as an indoor cat, freely roam around my on my apartment, and maybe cage him only at night if he is not sleeping with me. His cage will be in the same room where my Gps are. My gps have their cages but I usually let them roam free in that room as they are happier that way...

do you think its ok to keep Gps with a cat? I think i can control the cat as I will avoid him go near my gps, but will Gps feel disturb with a cats presence (sound/smell)?

yeah its safe as long as i keep the room door close lor...XD I put a use 'tikar' that I gulung2 so the can happily bounce, popcorning and play hide n seek with. I also put some obstacle like some used cartons and the big blue dome so they can play with. Usually they will run about and play around. then will wheek very loudly if they hear me coming or open the door, asking for food LOL...

1 problem is have to sweep their poo everyday...its everywhere in that room O.o;....I tried to toilet train them but they are so degil la...

can can~! but now I move to Sri kembangan d, only weekend at Klang (parents house) If you wan to come this friday night come la..this weekend cannot because i wanna go cameron XD will bring my 2gps Alice and Shiki oso to cameron haha XD

haha yeah all my GP at SK, but i live alone in the apartment, rumah 'bujang' la kira so I malu ajak ppl come in...

but maybe we can meet anywhere near here, I plan to take my gps to Cyberjaya park there to jalan jalan hehe...

yeah wiil by lots n lots of fresh vege n fruits for them in Cameron~! XD love to see them fat fat n heathly LOL

I will bring them in a carrier cage that i always use if i bring them to vacation. I will be staying in a penthouse owned by the company my dad is working with..been there twice and so far no prob with the GP (well...no one complaint yet LOL) oh ur going too? when?

1. It depends for the home breeder and the breed/color of the GP itself. it can range from rm50 to hundreds per GP.
2. NO NO NO~! They are friendly with each other but the size difference is too bog plus they are different in terms of food and behavior. I also once read that hamster's scent is not a favorable thing for GPs. Please do not mix them, with rabbit oso cannot (i see some pet shopt mix them together...got really angry when i see that...T_T)

3. Controlled breeding suggests the female must be at least 4 months old with weight 450grams or more. It would be risky to breed them at too early age or if the female is not physically fit to be pregnant. Breeding is usually not recommendable, as it have many complications and needs extra precaution.

4. Around 2 months.

did you give ur gp the mix pellet with corn, seeds n stuff like that? i'm glad you decide to change the food, coz food like that is a big NoNo to gps...seed n nuts are not their natural food, corns too. seed might contain acidic stuff that harm ur gp...i believe you can change right away, as you said ur gp refuse to eat the seeds n corns, might be because it know that is not good food...just try first if he's not eating might try mixing it with his old food, gradually increasing the amount of the hagen pallet in the mix until you can replace all of it with hagen.

Added on September 3, 2010, 2:51 amI usually bring half of gps to vacation or balik kampung. I got 4, so i'll leave 2 of them and bring another 2. but usually maximum i leave them only for 3 days only. if i need to leave more than 3 days i'll bring them all with me

travelling is no big deal to gps, what's important is to make sure you have a proper carrier to bring them (u can use toyogo box, carton, or th eplastic picnic basket if u dun have animal carrier) make sure got good ventilation, and bring enough food and the water bottle with u. they'll be fine XD
