1)poo not smelly... poo plus pee = smelly
2)do not let it smelly dont mix poo and pee.. so it is best to toilet train them asap.. can train them to pee at 1 place ok d.. poo poo.. cannot tahan 1..sometimes will poo everywhere also..
3) their wheek is extremely high pich loud if they really 1 ur attention.. if jus wanna wheek to "talk'' to u.. not very loud de la.. more like whinning wheek
4. yes.. need time.. u must giv alot of affection to it.. them they will befriend with u.. and make u his/her slave . morning : wheek !!! feed me .. feed me .. noon.. if u r around..wheek somemore..: feed me feed me.. evening: wheek again!! feed me feed me.. for the male.. will be let me out!!! let me out!! .lol..
but their act is cute...

Mother and babies also same... Mother tried to climb out since day i place her with choco.. And tis morning to my shock i found 1 baby piggies missing.. To my relieve it was at behind the cage... It got out through the bbq grill gap.. Wahlau eh.. Like father and mother maka son and daughter pun sama la..lol

My teddy eye like tat b4 .. I use eye wash to solve the problem.. I dip a cotton pad into the eye wash solution and clean his eye.. Now no more problem..
Make sure his hind leg is clean ans his nail are well kept.. Sometimes is becos of the dirt at the nails and got in to their eyes..

Fleece ( u need at least 2 set rm 15 good of 2x4 feet)
Toilet mat
Old newspaper
Breeder celect
Wood chip
Hay
For fleece and breeder celect u will need to clean / change the bedding often but not the piggy.. If u use toilet mat... U need to clean d piggy often as they will get yellowish on the undercoat fur due to pee stain..

One question 1st wat cage type u planning to use?
C&c sure i advice use fleece lor
Rabit cage u r stuck witj toilet mat lor..
Zoozone cage.. U can use breeder celect, wood shave, toilet mat,fleece.. but zoozone the problem is the ventilation lor.. Not very good..
C&c u must have a toilet area.. One u got ur pig.. observe their character.. Which corner they like to do their business.. Normally i do tis , on my c&c i make a small roof on top of a corner and put the toilet there.. The piggy will naturally do their business there..

u use rabbit cage with a solid base or metal grill with a pull out tray below? if the later u cant use breeder celect.. normally they just pour breder celect on the base straight.. no need toilet mat liao if u got a solid base cage. but i felt it a bit of a waste. pour pour like tat.. each month let say pour 8 times.. how long ur supply gonna last.. some more u need to pour the whole base.. i got two cage system, as u c in the attachment, the left 1 is fleece based while the middle and right is toilet mat based with bottom pull out tray. once ur pig is toilet train for the left type, u need only clean the toilet. while if on the middle and right type, u need to clean the floor mat for the pee stain, and the tray for its poo and pee. in order for the tray to last longer i pour in cat liter so the pee are absorbed. so it able to last for 1 week b4 i need to change.

got to agree with emino.. if the toilet cant fit into ur cage tat mean ur cage is too small for a suitable comfort living

CUBE AND COROPLAST--is as followed

CUBE- ebay, tesco sometimes,singapore
(replacement for cube)--> daiso cube, bbq grill( jusco got)

coroplast- stationary shop, normal 1x2 cost rm7.8, u wan bigger 1 go advertising shop(those tat make advert board de)

cable tie-daiso, hardware shop.

some creativity and u are set.

if u are going to be a good owner.. i bet u are hardworking enough to look a few page back.. i already said this again and again

hay(alfafa, timothy, oat, bermuda, orchard hay) --> under 2 month encourage use alfafa.. but other hay also can no problem de..

pellet--> alfafa based is still ok.. after 6 month switch to timothy based.

vege and fruit is also encourage --> piggy can take these since day 2 of birth.. pls read the list of vege and fruit can be eat by the pigs.

when is the time to mix.. after their weight reach 500g above or 4-5 month average.
gal mix with gal is no problem since birth
gal mix with boy --> problem.. as gal will get rape by 2 month old..

one pig can la.. provided ur room got nice ventilation... if not u gonna have a "nice" smelling room..

cube is very very very hard to find..
hence v replace it with bbq grill .. with about 10 u r good to build a huge cage d.

depend on how u wanna design it.. if u wan huge 1 yes.. jus as fence.. if small 1.. 4 can made it.. if u observed my picture .. the cage in the centre is made of 4 bbq grill only..the side is build using coroplast..

then ur , when the time come for cleaning how wor? u use vacuum to suck all the wood chip out? alot of work if no vacuum i foresee..

hahah.. lucky easy.. if all joint up de .. susah liao lor.. so 1 cage use how much wood chip liao? gonna eat into the budget after a few changes.. tat y i jus use fleece and news paper lol

i go kamdar buy 12 feet kain kapas and cut them into 4 feet each.. so i have 3 fleece . this is to enable fleece changing and washing..

yea.. demanding animal...lol..

ya he got nice pricing there... must agree on tat.. petshop selling above tat price..and his pig look well taken care off as well
