aiyo.!!!! i guess i'm very sleepy. at first i wrote VEGGIE.. then i edit it, change to FRUITS.
then i realize baby tomato is not FRUIT. duh! silly me...
i tried baby tomato at first (not to worry, i remove the seeds),
then i tried baby carrot.. still failed. then i tried cucumber.. then.. kale..
then i tried again baby carrot.. then celery (very small no strings)
then baby carrot again, the one dat i she finally eat it, i hold it in front of her for soooo long then she bit it..
she didn't eat much..

it is normal la.. never eat b4 ma.. pet store 1 only fed with pellet and hay... mustard different case.. becos since day 2 competing for vege liao.. lol.. so will eat de.. lol.. u jus leave the vege there for a while c the response lor.. they normally wont eat bcos shy..

ooohh.. i guess i'm too worried...
i even put it in her hidebox, it still there an hour later.. dat's y i'm worried..

The Abbyruvian baby that looks like American Short hair, now turn out to be Sheltie look-a-like, its fur has slight wavy and a bit fluffy. Interesting...!! This is how the mixed-mixed breed turn out to be many surprises. The Abbyruvian (Abby X Peruvian) gene I have probably is Shebby (Sheltie X Abby) gene instead. Their parents I bought from nearby local petshop. I thought they are Abbyruvian, now I should called them Shebby.

With this breeding experience, now proven both Shebby parents can produce a Sheltie look-alike baby offspring and Abbyruvian look alike baby.

i just bought my gp which is a male about 4 days ago but why does the guinea pig run away when i want to touch him.

Natural instinct. Furthermore it is only 4 days with you, bonding takes a long time. Everyday you can carry it and face it face-to-face talk to him. So he could recognize your voice and face.

what do you mean by carry?carry the gp or cage ?
i always talk to him everyday.

can anyone tell me if the black bits on my gp's skin is normal?

in the pics below you can see pink / white and black skin.

black on the left and pink/white on the right side:



pink/white on the right and black in the middle:



just this stretch of skin is black, pink/white everywhere else.

it seem like skin pigment to me.. if the black bits as u said it didnt move when u sprinkle some vinegar on it.. then confirm jus pigment lor.. if it move then mites lor.. normally mites will be visible on the fur strand.. but from wat i c no mites lor..

guys, i need your advise. My Babak is losing weigh, he is almost 1 year old & i checked his chin which is not wet & i fed him wit vit C everyday. I have separated him with Hurley(his partner) could this be the problem??

i oso remembered someone mention that feed them wit some super nutritious food, Oxbow brand so that they could recover. Is it called Forti Diet Health??

right now i put them back together but he is just eating a few pieces of capsicum, which is his favourite...

it is call oxbow critical care pack.. ur piggy loss weight in sense of how much? 50g per week?if he is eating right , then tehre is no worry.. if he began to be acting weird right jus sleeping around wet poo then there is something wrong.. u can check for mites or lice as well.. mites infection will cause loss of weight as well.. and sometimes they jus moody... u separate them but u can give them play time which enable them to socialize a bit.. might help improving his appetite..

Hey guys. Sry din't have much time in this thread. Getting really busy with my new job. Finally after waited for 1 month lol... (i tot she was going to give birth 1 month before but ended up waiting 1 more month haha), aby female also gave birth to 3 gp babies. The father is my coronet.... maybe someone is wondering how come my Coronet keep being daddy. It's because he's the only male i got in the house haha!!!!.... Well, back to my babies, 3 of them were 3 days old now and this is the 2nd time for the mommy. Getting very dirty now cuz din't bath her almost 2 months due to her pregnancy.... Here are some of the pics i took Yesterday night, not very clear la cuz i use HP take.... All of them have abit round face because my Aby and coronet face also round abit one, very cute oh >.<
