Boss.. im not sure how to cure this, but my advice please keep the environment clean always. It maybe caused by dust. Keep use eye drops as suggested. All the best, good luck

No worries boss, just hand feed him for first 2 - 3 days, select those soft fresh vegetables and fruits (less watery type), while crush the pellets into smaller bites.


In general, and for your piggy's age, they should grow back about 0.3 to 0.5mm every day. Within a week you won't see a difference.


Keep something easy for them to chew their teeth on, especially the inner-lower 2 teeth lol, those anvil stones for sharpening works best.

May I ask, what beddings should we use? Like I read before fleece is also okay but that's for toilet trained GP. Breeder Celect will do?

Most likely it is due to some mites that causing the left outer eye sore, you can see the outer layer of the eye is quite red. This also happened to my dog. Did the vet give you any ointment to apply?

thats the problem. I brought both my guinea pig to the vet. He say the brown one got slight infection. I ask him check both my guinea pigs just in case. He take them up. Look at them a bit then say both healty. Its at the Everside, taman counnaught. i think he kinda didnt care or something.

EDIT : he did give me eye drop. but that was for the brown one's infection. >_> He didnt say anything about the white one. Healthy bulak >_>

My teddy eye like tat b4 .. I use eye wash to solve the problem.. I dip a cotton pad into the eye wash solution and clean his eye.. Now no more problem..
Make sure his hind leg is clean ans his nail are well kept.. Sometimes is becos of the dirt at the nails and got in to their eyes..

Fleece ( u need at least 2 set rm 15 good of 2x4 feet)
Toilet mat
Old newspaper
Breeder celect
Wood chip
Hay
For fleece and breeder celect u will need to clean / change the bedding often but not the piggy.. If u use toilet mat... U need to clean d piggy often as they will get yellowish on the undercoat fur due to pee stain..

which one will not smell, i mean plus minus with me cleaning it shit everyday la. hehe which one will not cost more but yet cleaner and better for them. I thought wood shavings are not advisable rite? and the fleece is for those toilet train GP right?

Rabit cage u r stuck witj toilet mat lor..
Zoozone cage.. U can use breeder celect, wood shave, toilet mat,fleece.. but zoozone the problem is the ventilation lor.. Not very good..
C&c u must have a toilet area.. One u got ur pig.. observe their character.. Which corner they like to do their business.. Normally i do tis , on my c&c i make a small roof on top of a corner and put the toilet there.. The piggy will naturally do their business there..

Er. What brand of eye wash did you use? >< im new at this. >_> and the guinea pig i only bought for about 4 days? D: they are so terrified of my hand cause i had to pick them up for the eye drop

Was reading about fleece earlier..just a question..is mattress protector the same as fleece? not sure what and how a fleece looks like..thinking of something easy to clean coz now their c&c is in a mess and had to clean them everyday..

On the safe side, you also can use normal saline to drop into its eye, and then use cotton wipe away. Clean this 2-3 times a day will help.

u use rabbit cage with a solid base or metal grill with a pull out tray below? if the later u cant use breeder celect.. normally they just pour breder celect on the base straight.. no need toilet mat liao if u got a solid base cage. but i felt it a bit of a waste. pour pour like tat.. each month let say pour 8 times.. how long ur supply gonna last.. some more u need to pour the whole base.. i got two cage system, as u c in the attachment, the left 1 is fleece based while the middle and right is toilet mat based with bottom pull out tray. once ur pig is toilet train for the left type, u need only clean the toilet. while if on the middle and right type, u need to clean the floor mat for the pee stain, and the tray for its poo and pee. in order for the tray to last longer i pour in cat liter so the pee are absorbed. so it able to last for 1 week b4 i need to change.
