if you are someone who is settled, not going to move anywhere in a while, desktop + netbook would be a good option...as desktop is cheaper and superior than laptop...
but if you're someone like me: in KL 6 months ago, Pg 4 months ago, and at aussie now, then i think a good laptop capable of running games at medium settings should be the option.. |

QUOTE(huattk @ Jun 14 2010, 08:01 PM) 24 hours? Unless you like to see how a notebook burns out, your best bet is a desktop. BTW, even some desktops burn up easily if you don't have proper cooling. So you have to ask yourself whether you absolutely have to game in a coffee shop or at school. Most people would much rather have something extremely light (ie. a netbook) to use outdoors, and something cheap but a lot more versatile and powerful at home for gaming. When you get a notebook over RM2500, you might get stuck with a computer that is neither here nor there. That is my personal experience. lol at notebook burns out...it's not like you left your game running or doing some stress test on the gpu 24 hours a day, 7 days a week... |
