Hello all.
I am planning to buy property & plans to use EPF to fund for the property purchase.
Question is, how much can be taken from the EPF?

And is there a set limit e.g minimum amount in the fund, minimum years worked ?

Kindly advice, thank you.

it depends on how much you have in account 2....regardless of how long you have been working....so, depends on your salary also

Depend on the cost of your property compare to the amount you have in EPF account 2. If I am not mistaken you can withdraw up to 90% of the cost of your house purchase price. For example, if your property purchase price is RM100000. Then you can withdraw RM10000 from your account 2. If your account 2 amount is less than RM10000, then you can withdraw all of the amount available.

should be able to withdraw all from account 2 if the property price is higher than ur account 2 total.

eg: if ur account 2=rm100k,
and ur property is 200k. u can opt to take out all from account 2 or part of.

just show ur S&P to EPF officers.
can take out for buying house or to pay off remaining instalments of current house.
