 how to separate audio and music files

im new with android...
just bought htc hero 1.5

just wanna ask how to seperate audio files from going into music list in music player....
pls help me... this papago apps really annoys me

1) Create a file named .nomedia
2) Copy file into any directory in SDCard you do not wish to have music files to be auto-discovered. (E.g. /sdcard/papago5/.nomedia)

the papago sound can be used by papago apps right?

not asking u paste the voice inside the file..jz paste the file with .nomedia in the root of the file@@
den the phone will skip that whole file so it wnt scan any audio from dere

Yes. They'll just be ignored by the media finder. Should not affect your applications.

do you guys mean 'folder'? if create file, what specific file type should be created? .nomedia.txt?

The file should be called ".nomedia"
There is no further period (.) after it.

 

Change to:
