I'm newbie here, want to ask Nikon D90 18mm-105mm (RM3299) & Canon 50D 18mm-135mm(RM3899)
The price is about the same, I'm just a beginner, which one should i buy ?

you can't go wrong with both two brand. i believe canon 50D is making offer that they will give you another lens for FREE before july. With that budget, i will suggest you go for 550D for better advantages.
For me i feel that D90 body building quality is better than canon 50D. 50D has slightly higher mega pixel. The rest diff is not that big. |

In my opinion, it is best that you go and try out both side by side. At the end of the day the price and brand is not important, what is important is that you are comfortable and happy using that camera. I bought Nikon rather than Canon is not because Nikon is better than Canon, they are both equally good and i choose Nikon as Nikon's DSLR design suited my preferences more (e.g. button placement and user manual interface). But again it is up to you, both brands are equally good, at the end of the day it is personal preferences....
