Finally working.... after 6 days of no internet (DSL light keep blinking), finally it works.
Monday - called them.
Tuesday - reset port. Worked for 1 minute.
Wednesday - called them, they did nothing.
Thursday - called them, this time, they check port, check phone line all ok.
They want to come to my house but I say no problem here. They also fed up with me and I finally let them into my house and check the phone line connection at modem... gone! Turns out my lightning surge protector for phone line is gone. It actually 'saved my computer' as the technician put it.
I live in Kepong, and last week there was a major thunderstorm. The day after that the internet went silent.
Demmit... should have direct connected in my room but I didn't. The solution was right underneath my desk all the time.
Moral of the story :
It is not always your phone line, modem, computer, LAN, etc. that is the problem. It could be your freaking lightning surge protector.My P2P download list resumes after a long holiday...
