Hurmm.. donno what happen to my Streamyx today... speed decrease a lot... Usually I will get about 2.1Mbps until 2.5Mbps.. But today everything got below 1.7Mbps and suddenly up again to 1.9Mbps... BTW, I'm using 2Mbps line.... Should I report to them to reset my port or it is due to their maintenance at europe underground cable that happening now... HK Server Cyberjaya Server Singapore Server Seoul Server (this is the most worst result that I got.... Ping 300ms and above) My SNR Margin and line attentuation seems OK... and I also got 110.159.xx.xx IP today.... not like usual where I got 115.xxx.xx.xx and 175.xxx.xx.xx IP...

I donno what happen with my IP address nowadays... It seems really weird and they choose my IP on wrong place... I'm from Perak, but according to Speedtest, my location currently now at Sabah or Sarawak.. on the east of Malaysia... Is that speedtest problem or TM itself? And does this will effect my internet connection?? Sorry noob here... Uploaded with ImageShack.us

QUOTE(frey88 @ Nov 12 2010, 01:49 AM) bt using streamyx less than 50kbps use p1 wimax to bt full speed...... But when you exceed their monthly volume quota.., your speed will be throttle like hell....

Direct download from Megaupload (not premium account) seems really fine today... Got maximum 320KB/s and average only got about 264KB/s... I'm using 2Mbps package.... already downloaded 3 files from Megaupload, but speed still consistent.. Not simultaneously download all of 3 files, but one by one...

QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Apr 28 2011, 07:00 PM) They want to come to my house but I say no problem here. They also fed up with me and I finally let them into my house and check the phone line connection at modem... gone! Turns out my lightning surge protector for phone line is gone. It actually 'saved my computer' as the technician put it.
Moral of the story : It is not always your phone line, modem, computer, LAN, etc. that is the problem. It could be your freaking lightning surge protector. My P2P download list resumes after a long holiday... Wanna add some more, let the "professional" come to your house to do the further action....
