hi, i was thinking about updating my garmin map...from what i read in the FP, there are 2 maps which is MSM and MFM. how do i noe mine is which map? my garmin was installed by the person i bought long time ago. so i'm not so sure. i'm a bit noob in garmin.

i rarely use ovi map nowadays...often can't find the POI that i want to go...garmin-mfm is so much better

i must agree browsing through the ovi map is a breeze...so smooth and never lag or hang...but if it can't find the places that i wanna go, it's still not that useful. Also, i tink some of the places name is not that accurate.
anyway, it's a free map from nokia so not much to complain. but if it can support MFM den surely it's the best

what version of map r u using for ovi and mfm??
i did a quick test for ur address but ovi only give the address in penang....while mfm it gave many results both in penang, klang and another place in selangor

u update ur map using nokia map loader...it should work fine

it's different...i think it's kinda bug in ovi suite...it will reload the old map version unless u delete the CITIES folder in ur memory card...not so sure though
u can download nokia map loader from many sites...just search using google

currently i'm using slideunlock 2.06...quite easy to use and nice interface but need to get the reg code
mykeylock is good too but i tink the settings r too complicated for me

i bought this phone 4 months ago n i never regret it...really this is the best valued for money phone la...it works fine for me and no problem so far...keep my finger crossed...
but now got new cheaper phone like C6, so i wonder whether this will be then end of 5800 popularity

my touchscreen vibration getting haywire every time the battery is low...eg. different vibration intensity and sometimes absent. but it will back to normal during charging and battery full. anyone experience it b4? i'm using v51

just try out SPB mobile shell...pretty cool and smooth interface..not lag at all..
free ram with mobile shell, ramblow and slideunlock running is 37 mb after cleanup...i think it's acceptable for me
using together with SPB theme downloaded from ovi store
battery life not much changes

the date received for each lock with a-gps on is around 7-10 kb... so that would be just around 10sen...if u dun mind the small amount of money, den it's fine...the locking time usually within secs with a-gps
