brothers,
i off my phone before i start climbing up broga yest mrg.
and when i came down, i try to on back.
it vibrates awhile after i press the on button, but nothing happens after that.
i tried remove everything. battery, sim, memory and re-on.
nothing.....

anyone knows abt this?

Message centre in use also Maxis SMSC . after i change the 'reply via same centre' to no, i still cant send any text msg

nope. even when im standing next to the wifi router, i can't detect it. after i have restarted either 5800 or the router, i could re-detect it but only for a while.. any ideas?

anyone tried the c6 CF for 5800 yet? does garmin still work on it?

I've found a simpler way to have viewable Chinese Character. Just follow below steps :
* Make sure you have cooked your ROF2 with RM-612.lang

1) Connect your phone or memory card to your computer.
2) Go to (memory card) e:/resource/fonts & delete all the files [or create a "fonts" folder if it doesn't exist]
3) Download this FONT & copy to (memory card) e:/resource/fonts
4) Make copy 3 similar files & re-name each of the file to : s60snr.ttf, s60tsb.ttf, s60ssb.ttf & s60ZDIGI.ttf
5) Restart your phone.

There are some symbol not integrated in this font - if you notice, the HS "profile" logo & alpha numeric keypad "space" both are not properly display the symbol.
But hey, they solve viewable chinese character.

For me it serve as tentative solution while waiting for much improved CFW.

I think c6 n 5800 fw not much diff as both are symbian^1.. Maybe UI some tweaks only

super noobish question here it seems that my 5800 knows me but i hardly know my phone

i guess im really outdated with the updates so want to seek you guys for help on how to upgrade my frimware (hold the flames!! )

ermm just now i pressed *#0000# but they say no updates available wo

some areas and batches cant get the latest update...

works heavenly..hehe..but make sure to do hard reset again after flashed to CFW..

i use pirated 5800-c6v1 improved(support malaysian product)..hehe..

I just flashed it yesterday. So far so good without any issues.
BTW from some of the members in this thread, C6 with chinese input is possible but only through dayhand input
