only thing that need to remember is that later when new firmware arrive u have to re-flash back using the 5800xm v51 firmware before update... nod.gif

Just flash it to the latest CFW lar.. no need so mafan. Those dudes in DMF can cook a firmware within a day of release.

Hi all,

super noobish question here it seems that my 5800 knows me but i hardly know my phone laugh.gif

i guess im really outdated with the updates so want to seek you guys for help on how to upgrade my frimware (hold the flames!! tongue.gif)

my version is as follow: EDITED ADDED SPOILER

i heard that if i upgrade frimware all my data will be lost right?

u can backup ur files 1st, go file manager, then backup, then update then restore, but if u wan upgrade to C6-CFW, then u need to backup via pc suite then only can restore back, hence i think u juz press *#0000* then options "check for updates", but connect to wifi 1st b4 u doing this if not very slow

C6 has keyboard .. can flash C6 into N5800? no incompatibel issue ? hmm.gif

Nope. Working fine as usual. they modded some of the settings including camera settings for 5800XM.

Nope.... Region code and base firmware also not same how to flash?
for more technical term you had to refer to PNHT forums.

other way, download pcsuite frm nokia, then connect ur phone to ur pc via pc suite then check for updates
