I'm using the SPB mobile shell now..The battery lifetime seems ok, not draining much....just the RAM, it's consumed about 15MB++....when running the SPB mobile shell, better do not run anyway background app like nunlock n etc, coz you will face not enough memory....hehe....when i fed up with this SPB mobile shell, i think i will revert back to the original theme...

did anyone use any custom firmware or SPB MObile SHell??

The usability and customisation of SPB mobile shell is so much better, makes it hard to go back to standard UI..

There is also a task killer application to close / kill all unwanted application running in the background.
Not all application kills themselves even if you quit the program.

That's the same method, just download the ROM from the site and use the method you mentioned. Works the same way.

You should look for your region hardware code. eg RM-356
Its on the sticker on the mobo of your phone. which can be seen when your battery is removed

I'm not sure got chinese or not. I straight edit the files with cfw after download. But you can give it a try since that's the only option.
