I can understand how terrible it is to miss your ex. I went through the same pain also and once in a while now that stupid feeling is there. Sometimes looking at couples on the street or some lovey dovey romance in movies or dramas made my heart weep.

Whenever she appear in my mind again I would just get something to do and try to talk to my friends. You know, at this period, friends and family are the most important people
because they are the one who will be supporting you and to overcome the difficult feelings. Just voice your feeling out, and don't keep it inside your heart. I know you can do it!

If I can recall, the first 2 years after I broke up with my gf, I was kind of dumbfounded, and sometimes waking up blank, wondering how a 4 year relationship can just end like that. The more I think about it and the more I think about the sweet moments, the crazier I feel... I decided to have a huge change on myself (not totally, but physically) , I told myself to start over again from start, and started to re-explore myself again.
After that, I get myself to learn as many things as possible, and challenged myself not to feel jealous at couples because they deserved the happiness. So, now I'm saving money to get a DSLR and hopefully will jump into my first wedding photography shoot with my friend (I know it's a tough job, but I'm going to challenge myself), to take sweet memories of the bride and bridegroom, and earn some experience.

Most important thing is to be strong. Take this opportunity to do the things that you have never done before in your life, while looking for your Mr. Right.
