Razer Mamba concern :
I've been using the Mamba for several months now and recently suspect battery is having some issue....on full charge, after several hours of gameplay, battery goes flat....
A check with Razer found that the li-ion battery pack is not sold separately. Meaning, once battery died...wireless Mamba becomes 'wired' Mamba unless u wanna buy another set of Mamba.

Well, the Mamba's battery is a square one lithium ion (similar to mobile phone's) so any other battery (AA, AAA or others) wont work for Mamba. The battery can be taken out easily as the Mamba has a battery door where the battery is inserted...it is designed to be replaceable easily without the need of any tools. The only problem is you cannot buy the battery anywhere at all and Razer also admitted that they do not sell the battery individually....so what's the point in making the battery replaceable but no replacement part duh... Oh ya, and comparing to Logitech MX518, Logitech VX and Microsoft Sidewinder X8...Mamba indeed requires more juice to run. Logitech and Microsoft I have runs for at least a month or even more on a single charge (rechargeable AA)...Mamba only runs for few days on normal non gaming use....only hours for gaming use.
