there's not many people using roccat kova? is that actually worth to get it with Rm199 which less feature than abyssus?
i actually love the design of roccat kova, but dont know worth to get it or not. any user or comment? laugh.gif
*
The Kova has 5+2 buttons while the Abyssus has only 3 buttons. Also, the LED color can be changed on the Kova whilst the Abyssus can't be changed.

I don't quite understand why you'd say the Kova has less features than Abyssus? Hmm.. Maybe I'm missing something here?

And regarding the worth it or not thingy, it depends how you see it and whether the mouse suits you or not. If it suits your play & grip perfectly, definitely worth it, no? But if you're talking about the build quality and sensor performance, well that's a different thing, and I'll leave it to those who actually owns or tried it before to answer since I don't have one nor have tried one before.

Is the best gaming mouse with all things that can ajustable , but i waiting for R.A.T 9 .
*
But I'm afraid that I can't assemble them back once I dismantle them. laugh.gif . So many parts..

R.A.T 9 is the wireless version of R.A.T 7 for those who may not know.. But the battery life concerns me.. I'll stick with R.A.T 7 ATM..

Dun worry , there will be Instructions manual . But still can use back wired if dun want to use the wireless , but i think R.A.T 9 more worth and the price is not different too much
*
If the price difference ain't very significant maybe many will go for R.A.T 9 then.

But still, I'd still stick with R.A.T 7 because I always go for wired ones in terms of gaming, don't like the idea of dual mode either. Can save up a bit too. hehe.

IMHO, the OCZ Behemoth isn't the best looking mouse you can find, but the features and specs are quite good though for the price.

Just bought a 3.5dpi razer deathadder, I think it is the best affordable gaming mouse so far... I personally think razer is very specialised in manufacturing of gaming mouse... DA is very comfy, and the design is very fancy....
*
Hmm.. But not all people are willing to spend that kind of money on a mouse.. Also, although Razer has good designs, their build quality has been a question all the while..

Cool. RM155 not bad already, you bought at RM189 right?

QUOTE(mrsyah @ Jul 12 2010, 08:25 PM)
Yeah you're right... But what I was saying is that, to get the feel like Razer Mamba which can cost you rm400+, why not get the less powerful one for about rm180...

The designs are not questionable because of its gaming look and very fancy, also very attractive to gamers. For mouse the quality is still good for razer, though for me something need to be changed with their software/driver. And the quality of their other gaming peripheral, I'd better go for Logitech and other brands. They still need to work on the quality.
*
Yeap, we all agree on that they need to improve their build quality.. And quality parts selection!

So cheap already.. But Mamba will not be in my list ever.. I don't like the part where they connect the USB..

In fact, I like the idea of the Sidewinder X8, which has a magnetical head, which snaps on the mouse effortlessly..

You've almost mentioned every available wireless gaming mouse on the market, but forgetting the Logitech G7, which is quite an excellent wireless mouse from what I heard.. And the highly anticipated R.A.T 9!

Hi, how is X3 generally perform against MX518? Any comment? Thanks.
*
I don't know if it's just me, but i found out that I'm more consistent if i game on the mx518 compared to x3.. but i love the scroll wheel on the x3 though, compared to the ones on the mx518.. Sensor wise, I can't really tell the difference, but purely based on my feeling is that the x3 a lil bit faster than the mx518 on the same dpi..

and it's easier to shift dpi on the x3, having 3 dedicated dpi buttons, and if you have a smaller hand/palm, the x3 should be more comfortable.. i can't really think of much right now.. it's 3 in the morning and i'm still alive.. yawn.gif

IMO, it's sensor is good n reliable, comfortable/ergonomic and priced at an affordable price.

Besides, many professional players are still using it, thus building a fans base.. It's a must for gaming mouse collectors i suppose? Definitely one of the legendary gaming mouse out there..

IMHO the MX518 not v good for SC2 leh.. You need something smaller for faster movements.. The MX518 is too big for me..

Getting an Abyssus or Kinzu for the sake of the game.. Zzzz..

very happy today received my new mouseskates for my Logitech G9x, but after applied.. damn, what the rubbish product so call "Compatible"!! the thickness not even enough, my whole mouse bottom part scratching my mouse pad. very disappointed with that product.
*
They only come with 1 set? If not you can put more layers to make it thick.. IINM, the proper way of installing replacement feet is install on top of the old feet, without removing the old one.

We should put recommended mouse according to the price range in the first page? So that everyone won't ask the same question again and again and again?

For example:

Recommended mouse under RM100:
1. Logitech MX518
2. SS Kinzu

Recommended mouse under RM200:
1. Razer Deathadder
2. Roccat Kova
3. SS Ikari Optical
