QUOTE(Synthesia @ Jul 10 2010, 02:30 PM)
it is possible to test the mouse at ALL IT, Lowyat plaza. I was there a few days ago testing their Imperator and DA.

On the other hand, i am using a 1st generation DeathAdder and it looks like its time has come.
I am still stuck and i don't know what to buy.

Razer Mamba vs Razer Imperator vs Sidewinder X8 vs Cyborg R.A.T 7 vs Cyborg R.A.T 9

I was supposed to get a mamba, but i change my mind; i shouldn't get it just because it is one of the most expensive mouse.
I'd say the DeathAdder and Mamba feels pretty much the same other than the DPI gimmicks (Same shit with Camera Gimmicks, a camera is not exactly good if the Megapixel is high but people tend to think so)
Wireless v Wired? Not really important.
Any advice would be appreciated.

*
If you are not interested in wireless, then forget about mamba.

Question, Im looking at the Razer Orochi for my next purchase...

Do razer mouse's scrollwheel scroll left and right?

Also, how does the warranty work here? personal warranty from said shop or longer warranty from a official dealer?
*
I dont think they can scroll left and right

Razer Mamba concern :

I've been using the Mamba for several months now and recently suspect battery is having some issue....on full charge, after several hours of gameplay, battery goes flat....

A check with Razer found that the li-ion battery pack is not sold separately. Meaning, once battery died...wireless Mamba becomes 'wired' Mamba unless u wanna buy another set of Mamba.
*
Wahlauh, if confirm like that i better take out my battery, coz i use it in wire mode most of the time,

hmm weird.
only other thing i can think of is that ur PC casing is on the desk.
cos i never noticed any jitter when i used it on my goliathus.
*
No, my pc casing is on the floor.
I even bought destructor to pair with mamba coz of this issue but still jitter a little bit.
Maybe due to my grip. I am using claw grip and i set dpi to 3000

is it cause of your loud speakers?

I doubt that is the problem. Coz my sub is also on the floor and only 2 small satelite speakers on my desk.

I think cheapest at RM240+, some shop selling at RM280+.
Depends where you buy.
Overall the spec shown is really worth the money, but we look forward for the built quality and long period performance, wait to watch for more and more review.
*
Hmm.....worth looking to this mouse if my Mamba is dead. My mamba show no respond after i plug in, a bit worry on it now.

Online people will probably know about the warranty issues but those who just visit shops and buy it straight away might not be aware of some warranty issues ahead (the surcharge). Probably the shops at LYP are taking advantage of this? laugh.gif
*
What is the warrant issues? Mind to share?

lol, many people don't understand what we talking about the warranty issues.

If you directly buy from those reseller shop in LYP then you can bring back your product and they will send for RMA service for you.

If you buy online example from LYN distro or whatever, then you need send to Ban Leong yourself to get warranty. If you send to other reseller, they will charge you some handling surcharge.
*
I see, Ban Leong also selling steel series products?

QUOTE(Ken.shin- @ Dec 31 2010, 02:29 AM)
you mean the alien g9x?
used it only two three times, its fair, not bad, some gimmicks here and there, overall quite comfortable, what i dont like is, it feels cheap when its in your hand, and for that kind of price, i'd rather use the money to get sumthing else.
*
QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Dec 31 2010, 08:13 PM)
For G9, first impression: not a pro gear but with lot gimmick put into it.

Quality wise, not superb, rather get some other stuff with such price (as KenShin said)
If I not mistaken, G9 labeled with 6000dpi right? It should be interpolated sensor (correct me if i am wrong)

G9 is the economical model with lots of imba feature but not with high built quality, just my 2 cents.
*
Doesn't seems like a good mouse huh.
