Steel series ikari not worth? my 1st choice is ikari...second is deathadder...

i can get ikari for RM150...coz i got cash rebate 50 australlian dollar.. its ebay promotion here in australia.. =)...So..worth? pls say yes...

I don't really know the difference between the 2 sorry  , what I want though is absolute performance, and macro capabilities with onboard memory.

Currently, i'm looking at few options, Razer Mamba, Kone[+], Cyborg RAT7, and the Logitech G700.

So if budget is not an issue what's the best mouse i should get?
If Razer Mamba is the best mouse money can buy, i'd be getting it today.

The consideration i will be thinking would be Kone[+] and Logitech G700.

Logitech always release solid mouse which we always know. and about Roccat kone[+] i have trusted Roccat Build quality since i brought Kone and Kave, both quality are Superb, so i'm selling my Kone to do a upgrade by getting Kone Plus

my advice is whatever new products release better wait and see, no hurry need to be first 1 to have it, if you want become white mouse then no problem. today i don't see any tech products are bugs free.

well, hard to say.
there was once I went to squad battle with my squad mates, and the fella use some wireless mouse. At the last minute, suddenly he stopped, I screamed at him through skype, and he told me mouse battery finish already   

installed the G500 to my PC without any hassle at all.

the scroller; i'm fine with it. the buttons; all are great. 

but i really, really don't like this. picture this. i lift the mouse up about 1cm off the table, and i still can move the mouse. i'm like, omg, this is so not righttt. as i mentioned in my previous posts, i have a habit of lifting the mouse up very often, especially during gameplay. this is kinda annoying especially when the the cursor is moving around erratically when i lift the mouse up.     

anyone having the same problem as i do? anyone know anyway to counter this problem?

else, i'll have no choice but to sell off this mouse. 

please help.

you mean the mouse is built to be able to function like normal even if the mouse was lifted up to 2.4mm off the surface?

call me katak bawah tempurung, but i never experience such cursor movements before, even with my old ocz behemoth, hehe. example, my stop my cursor at x. when i lift it up, the cursor would end up don't know north, east, south or west of x, haha. perhaps, as you said it, i'm not used to such technoogy, yet. but then, it would be best if there is an option to disable such a feature. 

that is the only cons, in my humble opinion, though i never use any other gaming mouse. 

thats why the xai got 1mm lift-off distance.
razer imperator and i guess new mamba firmware also can reduce it to 1mm.

1cm? are u sure?
take a bunch of CDs, put the sensor over the holes and see how many CDs before the sensor cant move.
1 CD roughly 1.2mm.
xai sensor = 1 CD.
some sensors 3 CDs also got, but 1cm is too much.

yea typo, i never lift mine too lazy, and i use high dpi.

oh, and yes, i'm using it directly on the table, hm

perhaps, because the the sensor is on the front and not in the middle?

i do i mainly play cod , i have badcompany2 too. 

i think i'm slowly getting the hang of it; G500. but it definitely slow down my response in the game, haha. 

yup, now i gotta lift the mouse in a different way, haha 

only problem now is what to assign to the macro keys, hehe

brought my imperator to blitz, mouse crusor went flying, too much vibrations on table, even with titan everglide on 

he he, i feel funny now, look like new generation not only carry the hand phone.. now also need to carry gaming mouse. sound like new fashion coming.
