I'm very comfortable with MX518, tried some other mouse and still don't quite like the feel. Used to own a MX510 and then upgraded to MX518, using it since then. biggrin.gif

brows.gif You have to try Logitech G700 and you'll know the difference.

As for the Logitech G700 wireless gaming mouse, it is still not available at M'sia. I bought mine at Germany and it cost me 80 EUROS.

I don't really know the difference between the 2 sorry  blush.gif , what I want though is absolute performance, and macro capabilities with onboard memory.

Currently, i'm looking at few options, Razer Mamba, Kone[+], Cyborg RAT7, and the Logitech G700.

So if budget is not an issue what's the best mouse i should get?
If Razer Mamba is the best mouse money can buy, i'd be getting it today.

Logitech G700 and Roccat Kone [+] would be your choice. thumbup.gif You can try to watch my Logitech G700 review & Roccat Kone [+] preview vids. in my YouTube channel. brows.gif

At the moment in Australia, planning to get RAT 7 or SS Xai (At the moment using Ikari Laser). Any suggestions?

Heard that RAT 7 is very comfortable but many complain that it feels plasticky.
Xai overall not many complains besides ambi.

You can consider of getting Logitech G700 or Roccat Kone[+]. biggrin.gif

How bout the Razer Mamba and Imperator?
*
I never used a Razer mouse before. Thus, I can't give you much comments on that. biggrin.gif However, Razer Mamba indeed is really comfortable to use but the battery life is a little bit worrying.

For me, I would like to go for new products. Razer Mamba is kinda obsolete for me. brows.gif The bad thing of getting the new gaming mouse is the probability of being a big fat lab. white mouse. sweat.gif

It sounds better now. thumbup.gif Nevertheless, I still prefer wireless gaming mouse that equipped with AA battery as it is way more easier to get it around your place. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Nov 28 2010, 10:02 AM)
i just brought G700 for RM270 in Midvalley.

For what i feared about mouse issue on wireless. i kept trying all types of pooling, and repeat rate, battery power mode, it doesn't seems to suffer any type of problem as stated in their website.

So i think this is wireless issue, but hardware based error, but if anyone that brought the mouse really suffer this issue, i suggest you may go to RMA your mouse.

For me, this mouse just feels very good, and all the settings seems convenient and nice, i really appreciated for purchasing an awesome mouse just for RM 300 below.

and the mouse feels just comfortable in my hand, more better than the gigabyte that i`m holding(for me, because i got slightly big hands.) i tried palm grip, my hand is still slightly bigger than the mouse. i will may go for palm/claw grip hybrid  laugh.gif . But the mouse is really comfortable for me, if made compare with GM-M8000X, i don't really like the mouse design a bit, because of the thumb area, quite bend to the inside. and both side rubber with holes... you may have alot of dirty stuck in those holes. Well. currently still not yet written the review.  cry.gif  .

i would rate G700, 4.5/5
*
The only complaint I have is the stiff charging cable. Not easy to move around with it attaching the mouse. sweat.gif

any good gaming mouse to recommend under rm180 budget? gift to friend who loves fps game

Razer DA will fit your budget but please make sure that your friend will use lighter color mousepad and avoid cloth mousepad. This will reduce the LoD of the Avago 3888 sensor. smile.gif
