One of the many users who will consider upgrading to a Kone[+] from Kone. Many wouldn't in my opinion if they are a current Kone user.

But current Kone users would probably skip the upgrade due to not much of an upgrade and yet the high price tag.

I'm very comfortable with MX518, tried some other mouse and still don't quite like the feel. Used to own a MX510 and then upgraded to MX518, using it since then.

actually mx518 really a durable and good gaming mouse..but if you for newer design and better tracking sensor then i don think you should choose mx518

first version mx518 is 1600dpi.
revised version is 1800dpi...tho of cos that was a couple yrs ago.
but the 1800dpi version has a better sensor...basically same one as in deathadder.

We should put recommended mouse according to the price range in the first page? So that everyone won't ask the same question again and again and again?

What is the different from infrared and laser plus optical. I want to find use with whole palm. Not with finger more comfortable like that.

I roughly skimmed through v2, v3 and v4 and I have found no references to where I can basically try the following mouses that I would like to place for portable use:

1. Logitech Anywhere MX
2. Logitech V470 Laser Bluetooth
3. Logitech Wireless Trackman
4. Razer Orochi
5. Kensington Slimblade Trackball

What I am basically looking at is a small to medium sized gaming mouse that I can bring on the go, and wireless if possible. Most importantly, a function like the Razer Orochi (choosing between wired and wireless) would be awesome.

If there are extra functions like presentation buttons and such, that would be even better!

Please let me know where I can try most of the mouse (Lowyat Plaza? All IT? The Hub?) and any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS: I don't need a large mouse because I can go back to gaming on my desktop on my Razer DA if there is a need to, only for portable and light gaming sessions (1-2 hours) so I don't need it to be TOO comfortable for EXTENDED gaming sessions (5-6 hours)

Hello everyone, mind I ask, if budget is not an issue, what's the best gaming mouse i should get? Currently looking at Razer Mamba and RAT7. Any other suggestions?

Definitely Logitech has better durability but at the end of the day, which are you comfortable with and which design you prefer?
Sadly, in Malaysia, Logitech is kinda underrated.
