Recently there is too many FAKE branded cosmetic in the market!
LYN prohibits selling fake item. however there is still tricky as some of us not even aware of it.
so all my babes, its time for me create this thread !
Lets share what fake branded cosmetic u all ever know or bought before.
So far i personally gt to know that benefit and MAC gt fake products!

i think those that are being sold in the market (night market) or so are all fake. the price is so much cheaper than the original.. but then again.. some places might be taking directly from warehouse; hence the cheaper price.

i can't even differentiate it.. however i hardly use branded cosmetics such as those from the counter brand. i usually use japanese drugs stores brand. so, no worries of fake items as i believe those are original.

I have heard there are many fake one out there for MAC~~ >.<

For the others i have not heard about it. lolz

Shiseido??? those in japanese words. isits also fake? those people sell online. i know the peel off type is fake la~ but what about those people sell in blogpost?

if the price have a very huge difference. it would be the fake one i think. lolz... from what i know those blogspot usually sell those sample size. lolz

i only know the coastal scents from USA right, there is one selling it online, but brandless. they actaully claim that theirs are same quality as the coastal scents... should they be trusted?

I saw fake ANNASUI lipsticks before and they are sold in very cheap price. I think was around RM20-25. Their packaging was almost the same as the original (include the box). I did ask the salesgirl about the lipstick, but she just explained to me that it was the previous season products, so they are now sold in cheaper price.

My godness! anna sui also gt fake!? and its selling at the counter??? then mana to go buy authentic with gurantee and warantee orh?

as i travel to thailand..i saw a lot cosmetic selling cheap..shisedo, skinfood, MAC, etc...is cheaper than ori price..selling at normal shoplot..
perfume 2..i dun think the item is authentic..beware a lot fake item now..

I saw MAC and others brand too but cant really remember the name.. well the counter/stall just set up inside Giant mall n near to giant exit..

coastal scents 88 or 120 pallette is actually comes from a not so famous brand.. the brand manly.. their eye shadow pallette is actually the same as what coastal scent is selling.. perhaps they just bought it over or some business deal.. ask them to manufactured and printed their brand "coastal scents" on it to make it theirs but in fact that same manufacturer has supply the same thing to many different brands out there.

cant differentiate at all..
so bad if someone who first time trying skin79, totally clueless..
i also always see at night market the mac product.. but never have feeling to buy them.. haha.. so scared la...
even the shiseido black peel off mask.. still selling for rm2 at night market at my place~ people who dunno about this product has been discontinued sure got cheat la..

but then i try on the shiseido peel off last time. really not that bad. after peel of really gt the instance result. it just that i worry if the fake products cx much affect to the skin so i stop using.

not the fake one myb... haha..

so i dunno.. but i see gud review on that peel off mask..
can see those tiny little whitehead stuck on the mask rite
if thats still continue sure i will buy for my self..

i always thought that they are all different products that are selling out there!!! Coastal Scents are always my favorite because i have seen many make up gurus using them. But who knows... too bad then... =(

but why too bad? it's not fake or whatsoever.. just same thing but selling it to different brands, that's all. it's all the same thing. i thought of buying the 88 palette one day. haha!

lolz... it seems like i bought the same quality product with a higher price... That's why too bad.. Who are you going to buy from??
I bought one Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer Palette it actually cost me Rm96...
I saw one thats brandless actually selling at Rm65 only... >.<

LOLX! dun worry MacJon, if i were u i still will stick to the ori one since the price didnt differ much. plus using ori one sure feel much more better aint it true?

ohh right! that's what you meant eh. sometimes it's good to do research first before buying it. haha! on youtube there are many guru who are using coastal scents and also non coastal scent but they are all using the same products manufactured by the same manufacturer. i thought of buying it from ebay. when you say brandless, do you mean without brand or the brand is not famous?

Added on June 13, 2010, 10:56 amthose same palette with different brands are not fake. what make you think coastal scents is the original ones? like i mentioned above, it's all by the same manufacturer but he supplied to different cosmetics companies. that means, all are originals but different brands. perhaps coastal scents are more famous; hence ppl thought theirs the original.. are you thinking of that too? all are original though..

Added on June 13, 2010, 11:50 amuhm~my personal opinion still feel that its better to get beck to the "ori products with brand on it" rather than listen to some news spread but not sure with the creadibility. still buyers tend to feel more secure since its well known brand rather than no brand. anyway, oatkrunch, since u've decide to the the pallete i guess it would be fine for u to get them.
