A lot of people are already complaining that the dragons are too cheaty. Heck, there are mods out there that is hindering some of the cheat aspect (like making purple dragons just summon people instead of making them an instant friend upon summoning).

Too much expansion pack made long start up time. It's time for sims 4 now I guess

mine load time still ok. game load 1-2 minutes or less. save file load around the same but a bit longer.
to those who have very loonnggg loading time despite having a fairly good pc/machine, go check your mods. head to MTS and find performance tips.
i was once having this problem, turned out there are few mods file that is incompatible, corrupted causing the game keep trying to read the file. i'm also using CCMagic to manage my mods. the good thing about this software is you can manage mods to a group that rarely change or get updated (mostly objects, CAS items..) and the one that is updated when there is new game update (script mods). Then with this, it will merge all your mods file (.package) into 1 single file (based on group) which decrease file IO processes.

now I'm playing island paradise building the resort, beach style. Hoping to find new big island to build spanish themed resort.

I'm currently juggling between 3 families.

The Warrens are my newest, focusing on a female with living the life as a Dragon tamer in Dragon valley.

The Atlantis are my 'test game for Island Paradise, but I grew attached to them so keeping the family. A male merman (Poseidon) with his ocean spirit wife (drowned ghost).

And The Foresters, which is the descendants of my self sim.

Their stories can be followed here:

i love how we can customize a lot on the sim.
but as a player who focuses more on building/designing/architecture, i can't see the ability to build curved wall there yet. i hope they'll have that! or they could totally remove grid-based logic, and give freedom with square/curve tools like we have in drawing.

They couldn't really do much graphic wise since they follow where the money are. And where the money are is common household who doesn't upgrade their spec every 3/4 months unlike those 'hardcore gamers'. Unlike conventional gamers, Sims fans mostly just use whatever PC they have to play the games, since a large audience of them are non geeky girls from age of 12-40.
