furthermore c3 design and use of material is not quite optimal.... it shuld run on a 6inch woofer max insted of 8

i don't know... never get to see inside but i think ms5021 is better because
s330 specs is Total Power Output: RMS 18W x 2 + 36W should be same family stuff inside?
and the speakers are not as gud as.....

the design layout of the pcb itself makes it difficult to upgrade mod =(
even after mod.. the down side is it cannot fully peform because it speakers were not designed to go up to a certain level
for fun value, yes! why not!!?? for fan value?? YES i'd hit it!
but unfortunately at the end of the day my caps worth more than the set itself hahaah and i cannot get the full juice out

cannot compare lar.... how do you compare tda2050(r1900t) with tda7379/7(c3)?
c3 is cheap for something good....if you are unsatisfied like most c3 owners... you can try to mod it... i can help you with that =)
eg. first of all the sub must be 4 ohms 6 inches... you can purchase that cheap from recycle shoops

i think the best DIY upgrade you can give your multimedia speaker for cheap and good is direct solder the cat5 cable into pcb =)
no connectors means no oxidized/quality loss, no damage to pocket =)
don't let the cable cost more than 30% your speaker set and cat5 is best for this class of system
no need gold,silver,cooper connector/wires.... the cables will cost more than your system in ratio
just need a regular 3.5 or rca over the other end to saundkad
simple, good and logical

i noticed that website posted edifier stuff built with with higher grade materials, components and finishing than those sold in msia... we get the low down version? just open yours and check got that disgusting yellowy glue anots? theirs don't have =) (i hope you understand what im saying)

well now i found some better parts to make it

i bought a pioner sub woofy that was covered with soot in the junkyard for RM20, it had miraculously survived a fire
smeels like burned plastic and ugh so much ashes on it, i had to wash the speakers i salvaged with water!

i bought 2 pairs of identical defective speaker box a few months back for RM10 a pair from junkyard and gave a pair to my super good sifu and here is the other pair..... wow the speaker fits!!!

now to find the tweets... and the rest of the crap....

there is a moutain of it in the warehouse in Vinmart in puchong light industrial area beside tesco. don't know you will get the same price, but i bought alot of crap from them, so i got a super discount! =)

hmmn i wondering if edifier gives any other better op amp than the regular 4558 inside thier product....
i'm going buy a real edifier soon.... for modding then i think i will give it away

hehe i just roll the dice oni.... who in the right mind will buy a speaker set that barely survived a fire? see the pics.... the plastic all melted, when it arrived in my house....the spekres was sooooo disgusting melted plastic dust and soot....smeels still like bbq plastic

the difference between the 2 is just minimal like brothers.... 5532 has only a small advantage over 4558...
don't underestimate 4558 =) its my favourite jellybean
most multimedia speaker brands just don't know how to fully unleash it =)

premium brands/models puts it in optimum places and makes you wonder why the same crap can sound so good and bad at the same time....

thats why i say those ppl who mod op amp only first have tin ears
