Aww... That's the new series! Hardly seen in this forum yet. Would audit it when I'm go back to KL. But the appearance is a bit... Too distracting! As my TV shelves are too high, I can't actually place the sub on floor. I might still consider E3100 for bass. I need to consider the size at the same time as I'm going to put it on a shelves, as well as its appearance and ease of accessibility.

I googled quite a while and read something on E3100, M3300 and M3400. Everyone said E3100 for bass, M3300 for clarity (lack of bass when you want bass) while M3400, said not so good. I will audi new P series and compare it to E3100.

How's M3200? As i'm going to place them on shelves, I think the appearance is better when compared to other models.

E3100 got something I want! That's the RCA line in! I can straight hook up from satellite decoder xD!

Per nismo91's recommendation, please refer to my S550 crossover issue.

Nismo, you're correct. I'm concerned about the S550's lack of sufficient bass management. A reply I got from [H]ardforum was in agreement with my thoughts: ALL channels should be crossed-over equally. Why this wasn't done is beyond all logic, IMO.

Please note that I'm running the sub at an SPL-meter calibrated level, using Avia. Based on my room conditions, this means:
- SW: -9
- X-fi sub level: -7.5

The issue is painstakingly obvious when playing Crysis for example:
- Without bass-redirection on, the firing of guns is... weak, to say the least.
- With bass-redirection ON, the impact of firing each round is present. A nice, controlled kick in the gut is there. Spaceships hovering BEHIND you emit an ambient, rumbling bass.

Aside from a movie's dedicated LFE content (which would be nothing but the absolute lowest of sounds), let's think about why receivers have a speaker size setting (small/ large) to begin with.

I'm very happy with my current C3. Ya you need to pair it with good soundcard. You can refer my sig.

When they played around 1:05 - 1:08, the high pitch sound distorted a bit if heard correctly. Is it because of Youtube quality?

edifier m3300sf user here.Just got it for about a month or so.Pairing with a xonar dx.Replacing a Sonic Gear Blue Thunder 2v.Would like to ask if its safe to put maximum bass on the speakers with 20% volume as evryone knows that the bass level for m3300sf on 50% is *ahem a lil low *ahem.
