any good portable speakers that can go unplugged? Budget RM600

using C3. want to upgrade but dont know which model to.. or just stick with C3 and upgrade accs? let say cables?

thinking of changing cables, RCA using CAT5e cables. can improved? currently using somewhat chicken-branded rca cable

If you know how to DIY then you can custom your own better interconnects. If not really good then try on speaker cables only. Try with Cat5e, it does work with audible difference without requiring much concentration.

Added on December 5, 2010, 10:54 pmLittle things to share....parallel the tweeter crossover capacitor with a 0.01uf film cap.
I had found some good cap from dead modem, looks like metalized plastic film or polyester cap.
The results is positive, i hear the tweeter sound slight louder, but more detail and dynamic. Sweet sounding anyway   

Maybe further model Edifier speakers can implement this method on the tweeter since it does not cost too much.

How do you want your taste on the speaker sound?

M3300 should be good if the room is small not too big because the bass is not boomy type. I don't really recommend new edifier series as the volume control is at the woofer there....thats a big down i found.

E3350 if you mind to try that, silk dome tweeter~

I never heard the real e3350, but the satellites design is a good design.
man i just got attracted by silk dome tweeter. 

My room is quite small, then it should be fit, but since Edifier got a booth in Digital Expo, so I will go there and looks for myself, by the way why the volume control at the woofer is not good? Mind to share?

Hello guys,i just bought an edifier M1360.How to diagnose if my speaker is faulty? cause when i listen to kesha - we r who we r especially on the chorus,my speaker kinda like produce bzz bzz sounds as well.And when im watching this movie,the satellite sound is like pecah

hmm i dont know.kinda like 35% volume.
hmm maybe you're right.umm how do you define a high quality sounds? High bit rate? or large in sizes? 

Now you can notice more sound in your song, your speaker has better ability to play good sound
